This rental was absolutely perfect. We stayed three nights here. It was an easy one block walk to Siesta Beach. The hostess offers use of beach chairs and umbrellas and there's also an easy rental on the beach as well if you don't feel like carrying your stuff. It's a pleasant walk into town for all the bars/restaurants, or it's a five minute drive or free ride on the Frog Hopper. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The washer and dryer work great. Communication with the hostess was easy and friendly. The pool is beautiful, we spent some time relaxing in it after a day biking on the Legacy Trail which is just about five miles off of the key. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful pool and excellent location

Perfect location! The Hideaway Suite is ideal for a couple. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach and restaurants and shopping are less than a mile away.

Perfect stay for our Babymoon!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Hideaway Suite. It was clean, and just the right amount of space for us. Perfectly located close to town and a short walk to the beach, on a not very crowded section of beach. The pool was great for a dip, although it was shared we were able to spend time in it just ourselves at some points.

Amazing!

This property was pure perfection. We had the best time. Close to the beach, fun shops and restaurants. It was truly magical. Beach chairs and umbrellas as well as toys were all easy to access and the pool was beautiful. We will visit again for sure.

Awesome stay

Really enjoyed my first time stay in Siesta Key. Found this charming unit (The Hideawy Suite) it was perfect for my friend and I. The suite was clean and super cute. Our host (Virginia) was amazing. She checked in to ensure our stay was the best. Her care and attention to the property was evident. It was amazing to see, knowing that the hurricanes had a huge impact on the area. We would not have known by the looks of this beautiful property. Thank you for making our stay perfect!

Great Long Weekend Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway Suite for a long weekend with our two toddler boys. The unit was clean and had everything we needed including a pack and play and some beach toys and umbrellas available to use. The location one block from the beach was amazing, we walked to Siesta Village and it was so convenient to be able to access the unit directly from the parking space immediately outside the unit. Communication with property management was straightforward and very responsive. Would highly recommmend!

I like the place. very cozy. Even though it was no Ac in the bedroom, it was ok the coolness. hope in summer gets an ac unit in the bedroom. Now the beach was smelly and dirty. so sad.

Mostly good, but some things to know about.

Overall very nice property. The pros: washer/dryer, very nice pool, not a far walk to the beach, free trolly rides to the village and other places, nice big comfortable king sized bed, full kitchen, and one free parking spot. The cons: mosquitoes are really bad by the pool (I was getting eaten alive), the room with the bed can get hot because there is only one air conditioning unit and it’s not in that room (thank God for the ceiling fan). Overall would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Too Hot to Sleep

Convenient to the beach, cozy, clean. However the owner restricts the single living room AC unit to a low of 72 degrees. Which means the bedroom and bath stay 75 or hotter. This is unbearably hot. They also don't want you to open windows. This resulted in 5 nights of restless sleep. The owner needs to replace or repair the unit to ensure the confront of the renter. If this issue is resolved I would always stay here when in Siesta Key.

Siesta key getaway

Second time staying at this property. Great location to the beach and short walk to the beach and into siesta key village. 5 stars all around. One note caution the air conditioning is not able to go below 74 and in the hot summer months may be too hot for people. Wish the unit was in the bedroom vs living room. Felt the bedroom was overly hot even with fan.

Great location!

Cute little property close to the beach far enough away from the village, but not too far that you couldn’t walk there in about 15 minutes. The only drawback I would say would be the bedding. The mattress was a bit hard and I think certainly not what I’m used to, and I think adding a down comforter to the bedding would also be a noted improvement but overall the host was very responsive. The property was clean well maintained the guest in the surrounding areas of that resort and surrounding resorts were quiet and respectful. I would definitely stay there again.

200 steps from the beach!

Perfect location from the beach, only 200 yards! unit was very clean, great shower and washer/dryer. Some suggestions: Unit needs to be supplied better! Had to buy dishwashing soap, three beach towels and had two rolls of toilet paper. Beach stuff was mostly broken and rusted. Great location from shops and restaurants.

Accommodations were as advertised. Clean and close to the beach. Our only feedback is that most of the beach chairs were broken and in poor condition. Several were put out for trash the day after we arrived so hopefully they will be replaced.

Hide A Way Paradise

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at The Hideway. The pool that is steps from Hide A Way is a great amenity. We loved the short walk to the world’s most beautiful beach and under mile walk to the village where we had several good meals and coffee. Virginia was so attentive to our needs and is a pleasure to work with. Recommendations: The Cottage Restaurant Siesta Village Broken Egg for brunch. The beach obviously And if you like to bike, check out the Legacy Rail Trail.
