Vista Grande erbjuder fantastisk utsikt över Shenandoah-dalen, en syn som man bäst kan njuta av från däck från sovrummet och matsalen, från de svängande stolarna på den täckta uteplatsen eller medan du kopplar av i jacuzzin. Vandring, fiske, kajakpaddling och bad är alla bekvämt tillgängliga. Vista Grande sover 6 bekvämt. En stor stenpis ger värme för mysiga och / eller romantiska kvällar och en eldstad är perfekt för att steka korv, göra smores eller bara koppla av efter dagars slut för att dela historier och goda tider ... och när du inte vandrar, kajakpaddling, eller koppla av, se till att njuta av en omgång majshål på de specialanpassade majshålskivorna !! Framför allt kommer att ha kul och njut av de äventyr som väntar dig på Vista Grande !!

Nice little cabin, well located, super friendly host

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect, from communication to the stay itself. Beds are very comfortable. It's exactly as listed. The instructions were very clear and helpful. Next Walmart is about 16 minutes by car. The kitchen is well equipped, the view is astonishing. Heating works perfectly, it gets warm very fast. If the weather allows you, you can even make a campfire. Highly recommended!

Fabulous view

We spent three days exploring Shenandoah national park and this was our home base. Becky and David were very responsive to out text. Everything went as we expected. The main reason we choice this property was for the view- it didn’t Disappoint!

Long Weekend getaway

Communication rating w/ property owner is down because vrbo did not effectively pass along messages as needed. Listing cited drip coffee filters provided. We could not find any. Bought a pack & left some for next guest(s). Gracious owners, very clean property, all the amenities of home & then some. Very relaxing stay.

Relaxing Stay

We spent a long weekend at La Casita while exploring Shenandoah National Park each day. It’s about a 30 min drive to the park entrance from the property — I wish it were slightly closer, but the drive is so beautiful, and our stay was a nice escape. We had a fire in the pit out back and enjoyed the large tub overlooking gorgeous Mountain views. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Property

The cabin was very clean and well kept. The view was perfect! Our family had a wonderful time visiting. It was a little drive from town/trails but we enjoyed the quiet of the property while there!

Nice place to get away

It’s a great place. Wish it was a bit more secluded. Neighbors are pretty close, kids and a dog ran through our yard while we were outside cooking. The water in the area is interesting. Safe. But if going for a bath in jacuzzi it will look completely brown when full due to the high mineral content in water. We tried many times. It’s always dark brown. Besides that it’s very clean and safe

Great getaway

Very nice property. Beautiful views. The house is clean and well kept. The bed in the master was comfortable. The view from the master is amazing to wake up to. Beautiful property and felt safe. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. It was a wonderful time away.

Vista Grande Halloween weekend

We had a very easy time renting the Vista Grande cabin and found it very cozy and comfortable, and also offered some of the most amazing views Kristy and I have ever seen. We had a wonderful time at this cabin and would recommend it to friends in a heartbeat!

Birthday Destination

Vista Grande was a great place to stay for my fall birthday. It afforded the perfect scenic getaway. Views were beautiful and it was conveniently located close to Luray Caverns as well as numerous hiking trails and cute towns to explore.

What a beautiful place!

My wife and I stayed in this lovely 3 bedroom cabin with an amazing view of the mountains for 2 nights. David and Becky took great care of us during our stay in making sure we everything we needed was provided for us during our trip. I highly recommend staying here for anyone who needs peace and solitude, or a fun family time in the Great Outdoors! Thank you again David and Becky!!!

Incredible Stay!

This property was better than expected and the property owners are always available to answer any questions! We loved it so much we wanted to stay an extra day and fortunately they were able to accommodate!! The cabin is clean, kitchen is updated with everything you need, plenty of towels and linens provided. We absolutely loved our stay and will be going back!

Perfect little getaway

My husband and I were looking for a get away near Shenandoah national park, which is a special place for us, and this cabin was perfection! The views are incredible. We will be back for sure. Perfect getaway

My husband and I had a great time on our weekend away. The home was very clean and well stocked. The hosts' directions got us right there and they even messaged to make sure we didn't have any issues. The views were gorgeous and we also weren't far from Luray and New Market which both have cute antique stores.

Overall a good stay

My kids really enjoyed this house. The view was great. We watched a lightning storm rolling over the mountains from the back deck. About 20 minutes from town and on the far end of the valley from Shenandoah so expect a fair commute to most hikes in the park. We were pleasantly surprised by the Indian food at the mini mart in town - particularly the masala chai. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Instructions were clear and check in and out were very easy.

Perfect Getaway

Right from the start, the cabin hosts were very informative and reached out regularly to prepare us for our stay. The cabin was everything as described plus some. We had a wonderful time and the fact that we could bring our dog as well really made for a special 2 night stay.

Together we are business owners (Adventures Await) in addition to working as a general contractor (David) and flight attendant (Becky). We enjoy time with family, love being grandparents and although we do enjoy traveling, living near the beautiful Shenandoah River and among the beauty of the George Washington National forest makes every day feel like a vacation!
