We had all the space and amenities we needed to enjoy a fee days with friends skiing and relaxing in this lovely and well-appointed property. Looking forward to coming back

Great place to stay

This is a great ski home fully stocked with what you need and centrally located to everything in N. Conway. Literally 5 minutes from Cranmore mountain, restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room for 12. We had a problem with the downstairs heater but the PM was responsive with a solution. One thing I would suggest is more towels. A few extra hand, bath, and face cloths would have been nice to have. Also, the expectation of getting up on checkout day, making/eating breakfast running the dishwasher, which takes at least and hour, and emptying before you leave at 10:00 is a bit much to ask, especially when you have a large party.

Wedding weekend

The Chalet was a perfect spot for our group of friends celebrating a wedding this weekend! very clean, comfortable and easy check in/check out instructions. The kids were happy and we had plenty of space to enjoy each others company and get wedding ready! Would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful time

We really enjoyed our time at the condo. We have been there mutliple times now. There are a few things that need some attention, however, none were major or impacted our ability to enjoy our trip.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Kearsarge Woods! The multi levels were great for our families. We didn’t use the loft bedroom with the ladder but if we had more people we would have. The “library” area is dreamy. Comfortable beds, couches, overall feeling. Condo has everything we needed - pots, pans, cups, etc, etc. some minor fixes are needed but it didn’t take away from our trip.

Good location and cozy place

Overall a pleasent stay. Nearby all attractions. One of the queen bed is in the loft that has a ladder going up to it so.it might be challenging for some people to go up amd down.

Perfect getaway

We were families (related). Two moms and four boys (cousins) ranging in age from 11-25. This was the perfect home for us. The 14 year old stayed up in the loft. Yes it’s a steep ladder up but he was fine with it and loved his own space. The older boys took over the downstairs. We loved the fireplace and that there were two bathrooms. My primary bed was soo comfortable! We played games around the generous kitchen table and cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen. The library loft was great if someone wanted a little alone time and there weee so many books to choose from! The mudroom entry was perfect for all our coats and boots and messy stuff. The location is close to Cranmore and North Conway village. This vacation home was perfect for our group of 6. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you Lindsey!

Great location but more of a 3 bedroom condo

You can’t beat the location of the property. It’s so close to everything and the complex has a great pool also which the kids loved. The issue was really that the property really only has 3 true bedrooms. The loft is unusable (small, scary to get to etc.) and one of the “bedrooms” is the side of the finished basement you walk into so it’s not separated or private. The kids room and other 2 bedrooms were great though. Outside of that, living space was cozy and we liked the porch. The towels should also be replaced, they were very small and only 2 in each bathroom which was extremely challenging with our group.

We had a good experience with our stay at Lindsey’s house. I highly recommend, close to downtown, story land and hiking trails. The pool was an add plus, Our kids really enjoyed.

Great location and amenities including pool and tennis court

Close to town and attractions. The condo was fully stocked and clean linens were provided. Anything needed for cooking and outdoor grilling were on hand! Just some information for planning...the unit has 4 levels. Something to be mindful of if you have infants or toddlers. The loft bedroom is fine for adults and teens. Our 8 and 10 year old loved the loft as a hang out space during the day, but we didn't feel comfortable having them sleep there. Summers are getting warmer...we bought fans for the lower level to make it more comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

Cozy Rental

My family had a great time in North Conway. The condo is very cute and is at a perfect, convenient location. We also loved the beautiful pool. We had a group of 11 with 6 adults and 5 children. The space was a little bit tighter than we had expected, especially with the full size bed in the loft being unusable for anyone in our group because it was dangerous to get to. We also expected AC in the entire unit and found out there were only a few standing units. Luckily, it was not hot the week we visited so we were comfortable. There is laundry in the basement, but the washer leaked and was unusable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the unit for a smaller group. Lindsey was very responsive to any communication.

Long weekend

Eleven of us stayed at this condo and it was lovely! Everyone enjoyed themselves. Only recommendation would be for the basement to have air conditioning. It was a little toasty for some of the adults. Overall a great time!

Great Location

We stayed from 7/24-28, 2023. Lindsey was very prompt with any messages prior to. The house was exactly as advertised. We were gone almost all day everyday seeing the sights, but the evenings were relaxing and the pool was great. Highly recommend! Thanks for having us!

North Conway Condo

The condo was very centrally located to all North Conway had to offer. Was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was also very prompt and easy. there is a very steep ladder to access to the loft sleeping area, so if you plan on having someone sleep there (we didn't) make sure they are comfortable with that. Might be ideal for a young teen.

"The Chalet" - Perfect for us

Excellent choice for our family ski week. Very ski-lodge authentic looking condo. Adults to grandkids all had great time and found the space to spread out for whatever they wanted to do. Easily location was best aspect being within walking distance to the center of town (which we did multiple times) and being across the street from Cranmore. Very quiet location. Condo association was plowing and shoveling very early so easy to get out when needed. Host Lindsey was very helpful and easy to find for questions both during the booking process and through the checkout. We would love to come back!

Great location for all that North Conway has to offer. Host was very polite & welcoming. Nice quiet area away from the hustle & bustle but close enough that its a stones throw away. Wish we had more time to stay.

The Chalet/Kearsarge Woods

Description was inaccurate- the only a/c was a unit in each of 2 bedrooms and an open loft area( ineffective- we had to buy fans as none were provided). No place to store our food in kitchen cabinets, no bureaus in 2 bedrooms , no place to put the suitcase we now had to live out of so they stayed on the floor . The large bedroom on the lower level has a very small space in a closet for clothing/ this is a room the sleeps 5. Mattress in room on main floor sounds as if it will crack/ break with movement. Mattress on second floor has a huge lump. Sofa in main room partially blocked way into living room. We never found the 2 extra dining room chairs mentioned- no room at table for them but we could have used them to place a suitcase on instead of the floor. Dryer in laundry area is partially blocked by boxes stacked near the front of it. Never located the stereo speaker noted. Unit was not properly cleaned- trash behind heater in living room, fridge door full of product from prior renters, freezer needed to be cleaned better. One chair on deck broken but left out there. Unit might sleep 10-12 but it is too cramped in common areas to be comfortable. Bathrooms were stifling due to lack of a/c- it was a very hot week.Lighting throughout is very poor. Owner did respond promptly when we needed the correct dumpster code, and when the internet went out( we had people with us who needed to work). The pool area was very nice, and the development is in a great location. Disappointing unit- especially for the rate charged-if I realized what it was really like I would never have chosen it.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Many of my favorite memories growing up were our family ski trips. I have always dreamed of having a ski chalet of my own to share with family and friends. It is instantly relaxing on the drive up when we cross into NH looking forward to a long weekend of snow, warm fires, a good book, puzzles, scrabble battles, good food and lots of laughs.

Lastly the location is ideal, we love to wake up and pick a mountain to ski. Cranmore is directly across the street, Black Mtn. within 10 min, Attitash 15min, Wildcat 15min, Bretton Woods 30min, and one of our favorites if you are looking for a larger mountain Sunday River, 45-50 min away.

The retro 80s style of the condo was exactly what I was looking for it instantly reminded me of all the unique rental properties we stayed at over the years. The kids love the lofts, especially the 3rd floor loft with ladder access its a built in fort. The unique cut outs in the stairs mixed with the lofts makes the condo the ideal spot for a friendly nerf gun battle for the whole family!
