What a delight place to stay! Beautiful view of the ocean, easy access to the beach, miles of sand to walk, and gorgeous sunsets! The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The decor was charming with its pelican theme. Did I mention the hundreds of pelicans on the nearby beach and flying overhead? The best beach vacation we have ever had!

Everything about the condo was great- it was well stocked, great view, and clean. The only down side was the towels and washing machine smelled horribly of mold/mildew.

Fabolous location

Pelican 48 is a great place to stay. Everything was spotless and communication was fast and easy. The owner is very responsible and even offered to us an early check in. In the condo you will find everything you need or can think of you might need and everything is explained in detail! I highly recommend Pelican 48 to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation with a beautiful view at the ocean!

Excellent and relaxing

The property was perfect. It did not disappoint and the view was amazing. Pajaro Dunes is our go to place for a calm beach vacation. This condo was well maintained and cleaned. The communication with the host was excellent as was the check in process.

Weekend getaway

Visiting central California from East Coast and wanted to spend time near Monterey. Lovely location. Enjoyed aquarium, tide pools, Carmel, Elkhorn Slough (said "sloo") and beach combing.

Very peaceful

We enjoyed our three nights in this wonderful condo. Very quiet and private, private wrap-around balcony, renovated and updated, unbelievable view, comfy furniture and beds, well equipped tidy kitchen, spotless clean, with warm inviting attention to details. Perfect weekend getaway to the beach

A great condo in a wonderful location. Condo itself is in great condition and kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. Condo is on the third floor (hence the nice view of the ocean) but it isn't an issue with ramps (not stairs) and carts are provided. Beach access was easy and the wide beach was great for walking.

Great family get away!

The condo was lovely and the kitchen had everything you need to make meals - the whole condo was well stocked including enough towels and cozy blankets to wrap up in. The views were magnificent and the whole family enjoyed walking the beach and looking for sand dollars. The location is close to both Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I grew up in San Jose and frequently spent time in the Santa Cruz beach area. We moved to Grass Valley and raised our family in the country but found ourselves renting vacation homes at various beach areas in California a few times a year.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We fell in love with Pajaro Dunes because of its location situated right on the beach - not down a rugged cliff, and the warm weather of the area pretty much year-round. The best part about it is: It's not crowded!
It is surrounded by ocean on the one side and acres of beautiful farmland on the other. We are just physically steps from the sand with unsurpassed views of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Pajaro Dunes is truly a natural paradise of tranquility. We love watching the wildlife in their natural habitat such as pelicans, various sea birds, sea otters, dolphins, California gray whales/humpbacks/killer whales migrating to Alaska or Mexico. Every time we visit our condo we spot whales in the bay and identify a new seabird or a native blooming plant. We love taking advantage of the areas fresh caught seafood and the freshly picked fruits and vegetables.
We think Pajaro Dunes is simply magical!
