Amazing location, cozy and clean

This place was great in every way. Comfortable, clean, full of everything you might need. Can’t beat the location; it was so quiet and lovely. It was the perfect getaway with our kids (aged 6 and 9).

Great condo in an amazing location

Couldn't ask for a better location. Tucked behind farms this quiet condo has everything. The beach is a very short walk down a nice board walk. There is a foot washing station to wash off the sand when returning. My kids found so many sand dollars and shells they couldn't believe it. Only negative is there was only a single beach chair so sitting on the beach meant using a towel and sitting on the sand. Also the second bedroom was shown with 2 twin beds in the pictures but it has a trundle bed currently, not ideal but was plenty for my family. Overall it was a great place, wonderful location with easy access to the highway for travel up and down the coast.

Family Getaway

It was a weekend for birthday celebrations and it was magnificent. The location is perfect for going to the aquarium and boardwalk. We will definitely do it again! The ocean is always magical.

Always amazing

This is my 8th year coming here with my kids. The unit is always amazing and we look forward to visiting. Feels like home. Very clean and comfortable. Enough cookware to make a variety of meals. Will be back again. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Ideal location

This was our third stay at this lovely property. The location is perfect, with great views of the river and the ocean and easy access to the dunes and beach. The condo is clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds and great showers, and the owners are easy to communicate with. We look forward to coming again!

we were supposed to be let in to check in by 3:00 we didn’t get in until probably by 6 because the owner has a problem with how many guests i had all family for my daughter celebration. i don’t think i will ever stay here again.

Pelican Point--A Peaceful, Private Paradise

We needed and experienced a quiet, vacation and a peaceful beach setting without crowds which was exactly afforded us at Pelican Point. Ample amenities, lovely views and accomodations. Appreciated the kitchen supplies, washer/dryer etc. Only thing needed was printed instructions about how to use TV streaming device for more stations. Not sure if passcodes were required or some stations were not accessible. We decided not to query or bother property manager because our time there was brief and we welcomed the chance for respite and renewal. Wish we could of stayed a bit longer, but we'll definitely return.

Perfect Location!!

A perfect location to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The condo was very comfortable for the four of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a great birthday dinner. Add to that the view and very short walk to the beach. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will definitely be staying here again!

Girl’s Weekend Away

Fabulous weekend away with my girlfriends. The condo was clean, well stocked and great location. We felt very safe. Easy access to the beach too! We would stay here again. The host is very good about getting back to you with any questions you may have.

R&R Retreat

Private & peaceful. Wildlife was awesome. Great views of Pajaro River, Watsonville Slough and ocean. Perfect getaway for our family of 3. But don't tell anyone!)

Stunning condo and location

The location is absolutely stunning, just a few meters from the beach. Pelicans on the left, killer whales on the right. The condo is perfectly appointed with everything you need for a 4 person stay. The only potential negatives are that you can hear the people above, and that it can be a little warm in summer with no air conditioning. We opened the patio door and kept the fly screen closed, which worked for us. Communication with the owner was perfect. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Tranquility

Comfortable and spacious condo. Quiet resort, isolated from the nearby beach towns. Basketball/tennis/pickleball/ volleyball courts (including equipment for use) located a short walk away. Soft sand and BIG SURF at your doorstep. We swam with sea lions, and enjoyed the beach daily.

Perfect little condo at edge of the beach.

The condo is right at the edge of pajaro dunes making it feel very private. For 3 years we have brought our 3 ywar old son here and we all love it every time.

Family Reunion

We stayed in this beautiful condo for a week at the end of June, We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes annually for over forty years and have stayed in many condos and houses. I can honestly say that I particularly loved this one. It was very clean with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. I especially liked the large showers with dual shower heads. The condo had everything we needed and more. We had our young granddaughters with us so we liked the fact that the condo was on the ground floor and single story. The girls loved watching the pelicans and cottontail bunnies from the big picture windows and the deck. It was also an easy walk with them down the boardwalk to the beach. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Graduation getaway

Spent 3 nights as part of a California vacation celebrating daughters college graduation. Great location for visiting Monterey and the area. Very nice to step out of condo and enjoy relaxing beach walks.

John and Mary Pastrone bought Pelican 75 in the 1960s so their 3 young sons could enjoy beach weekends and escape the heat of the San Jose area. Today, a 3rd generation of grandchildren enjoy the same surroundings their fathers did 40 years ago when they were young. The property is currently managed by Lauri Pastrone, one of John and Mary's three daughters-in-law.

It's the ideal location at Pajaro Dunes. Quiet and private... in between the ocean and the river... with massive views of the ocean, river, and sand dunes. And it's ground level so that families can be indoors and out but still be together.
We have upgraded and updated over the past 5 years, including 2 full master bathrooms with dual showers, new furniture and many extras. And we have the best cleaning team in Pajaro Dunes.
