My family had a great time at Cozy Pine! The location is wonderful, and the cottage had that great, original Tahoe feel. We enjoyed being able to go to the lake when everyone else headed out for the night!

The cottage/cabin itself was a lil dated and could have been A LOT cleaner the couch was stained the floors under the bed probably have never been cleaned the walls had stains and it had a weird smell. The shower also has a huge leak that was cause some significant damage to the floor and I had to call the Maintenace people. I did enjoy our time outside on the deck and how it was right on the water . I got really lucky and was the only person there for 5 days so I didn’t even have to share the space which I think was pure luck but the out door space 10/10 the house itself 6/10 . We left two nights early bc I just didn’t enjoy the house space . I also lived that my dog was allowed so that alone give it a better score. But I do think this place needs a lot of love and repair

Steps to rye lake front, perfect little cottage

Host was very welcoming and the cottage is adorable. We will definitely rent this place again, maybe in the Fall. The only issue was the heat was too warm even though we set it completely to the left. The cottage was warm when we arrived.

Property manager was great to work with. Location is AMAZING.Place is cute and comfy. Nice beach for throwing dog's ball, playing in water and hanging out. Lovely beach front patio with chairs/tables for cocktail hour.

The location is great, quiet and close to beach access. The check in and check out process was a breeze. The place itself is great, unfortunately it was very dirty and run down. The floors look like the haven’t been cleaned in some time. The coaches are very dirty and covered in stains. The mattress are extremely old and 1 even had a large hole in the side that looked like a mouse was living in it. The whole place just needs a good deep clean and some new furniture. The back door out the bathroom that leads to outside also doesn’t lock which wasn’t very comforting for my wife since we had our newborn with us. If location is a priority to you this place is great. If cleanliness and comfortability are a priority to you I would not recommend.

That said, it is an older home, and while it is well maintained, some furnishings and finishes do show their age. We understand that this may have affected your perception of the property's overall condition, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We will review your comments with our housekeeping and maintenance teams, including the furniture and mattresses, to see where improvements can be made. Regarding the back door, we understand why this caused concern. We would like to clarify that the door does lock properly. It is designed so that turning the interior handle unlocks the door from the inside, which is a standard safety feature that allows for a quick exit in the event of an emergency. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Great location and comfortable cottage

We stayed at Pine Cove for two days. It's in a great location, easy access to the beach and close to South Lake restaurants and activities. We had a great time, and our dog also loved it and was comfortable.

Wonderful Weekend at the Lake

Nice location steps from the beach and dock. Beautiful views. Clean, comfortable house that we enjoyed as a base while hiking and sightseeing.
