Nice location

This is a nice location. It is not right on the beach but across the street. Their sister location Beach Quarters is on the beach and you have access to their gym, indoor pools if needed and conference room. Turtle Cay has outdoor pools and hot tub. Fully furnished kitchen was great. Also each room has their own hot water heater which was nice. Walking distance from the beach, board walk and several shops, and eateries. We will be back hopefully with better weather conditions.

Great experience

Everything went very smoothly. The staff from the front desk to cleaning folks were all very courteous and helpful. We had a great time. It would have been great if the balconies of the units were inaccessible due to renovation. Aside from that, we enjoyed our time. We would love to reuse this resort for our next vacation to Virginia Beach. Thank you

Great location

The resort was nice and the perfect walking location for the beach and all the shops/restaurants in the area. The marina for parasailing, Rudee cruises and fishing is a quick walk up the street and the location is on the more quieter end of the beach which was nice. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. The room could use a few upgrades as far as some broken tiles on the flooring but other than that our stay was great. We didn't use the pool area but it was also very nice looking. Would stay here again.

Great Stay

Pools and hot tubs very clean. Beautiful at night them being lit up. Room really clean. Loved the washer & dryer in the suite. Appliances all worked very well!! Staff was really nice. Really liked the text messages ensuring everything was good & letting us know to reach out if we needed anything!! Would stay all over again in the future!!!

Virginia beach 2023

This property has good bones. It needs some updating, and it seems like they are actively doing this, such as all the balconies were being repaired. Unfortunately, this also allowed no access to the balcony. The pool area was mostly clean. Leaf debris could have been removed more often. There was a momma duck with her ducklings that lived in the pool area. They were cute, but one time a duckling stood in the zero entry pool area and left waste behind. The unit was clean. There were minor issues that didnt really affect our stay that much. The decor was outdated. There is carpet everywhere except kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen looked updated with granite countertop, new appliances. This one actually had washer and dryer, which was nice to have. Configuration of unit was such that the front door oddly opened directly into the main bedroom. The door from main bedroom to rest of unit didn't close properly. Parking was gated and never an issue. It was just across the street from the beach and boardwalk, so a very short walk. Area was close to numerous restaurants and grocery stores. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves.

Surprising resort like environment, pool area was clean and relaxing. Location convenient to beach, shops and restaurants. Unit was good sized but needs updating. Balconies were closed for inspection but would have been a nice space for coffee or relaxing.

Amazing place with great pool.

Great place for a getaway. Perfect location, super close to the beach and nice restaurants. Room was great, floors were a little dirty (hardwood floors) but other than that it was pretty clean. Pool was amazing and waterfalls create a nice ambience.

Dingy, dirty and buggy!

The suite was not deep cleaned in a long time. dingy and dirty. I am not sure all the units were this way since they must be individually owned but this one had stained carpets and sofa. In my stay there for one week I seen 2 dead palmetto bugs in the suite. Reservation desk staff were very good. Parking in the garage was a little difficult but ok.

Great location

Pros: located in quiet end of VB; walkable to everything; nice pool; washer/dryer in unit Cons: unit is dated and not cleaned properly; cockroaches (not water bugs) sighted twice in unit; stained bedsheets; broken closet doors; dirty pool chair cushions; no beach chairs or umbrella available which is usually customary if you’re paying an extra fee for an already overpriced room. Most likely wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall good experience

Beautiful and clean inside and out. Rooms were spacious and clean. View outside was beautiful. I did not like that the staff outside (looked like security) was not helpful. Parking was confusing to figure out at first and no one helped direct me though I was walking around the entrance area trying to figure out parking and how to get to my room. Once I figured it out it was easy. Loved the proximity to the beach and the gentlemen upfront (African American, Tall) was super personable and friendly. Name was spelled incorrectly on reservation so for wifi I had to use my incorrectly spelled last name. Regardless, great stay and would go back for sure!

Great location right across the street from the beach

Great location great pool- also views of lake across the street. About a 2 mile drive to the boardwalk so away from the boardwalk traffic which was good. Room was clean and staff took extra steps w cleaning and towels left outside to remain 6 ft extra cleaning at pools.
