Gatehouse Gardens - Minnewaska Room

Beläget på vackra Gatehouse Road, intill Testimonial Gateway. Gatehouse Gardens är en mycket lugn och privat miljö som gränsar till Mohonk Preserve med enastående vandrings- och cykelleder.

Vi är bekvämt beläget, bara en mil utanför byn New Paltz. Utestående restauranger, shopping, SUNY New Paltz (konstgalleri och teater); bara några minuter bort.
Vi erbjuder bekvämligheter som inte hittas mest B och Bs, som en uppvärmd pool och bubbelpool.

Minnewaska rummet ligger på andra våningen. Den har en egen ingång. stor privat däck med skärmad i lusthus och vacker utsikt över dammen och vilda djur.
Stort omklädningsrum med fåfänga. Badrummet är skilt från omklädningsrummet och har en vacker stor kakeldusch.

Beautiful property, warm comfortable room

Loved the property, quiet, gorgeous and private, yet very close to downtown New Paltz. The bed was comfortable and room warm and inviting. Check-in/check-out was smooth and friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back

Lovely house outside New Paltz

Gatehouse Gardens is the perfect place to stay when popping around the Hudson Valley. We were well located to visit several vineyards and minnewaska state park, as well as close enough to New Paltz for dinner in town. The pool is icing on the cake!

What a charming apartment

This property is perfect for couples. It has a private entrance, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. There's also an outside gazebo just outside the door. (Too chill to use it during out stay.) The hosts were were onsite, which is a plus. I would definitely stay here again if visiting nearby family.

Perfect mountain getaway

Our 2-night stay was wonderful. The location is the perfect gateway to New Paltz and all that Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve have to offer. The property is lovely. We made use of the pool and grounds; and the screened Gazebo is the best place to enjoy a quiet breakfast or relax after a long day of hiking. Many thoughtful touches from the property owners. I would definitely go back!

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as described and pictured in the listing. Rick, our host, met us on arrival and show us all the features our rental had to offer. He was friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and well-maintained. There were many nice personal touches. We really enjoyed the screened in Gazebo and the outdoor space. The hot tub was available to us, but we chose not to use it because it was too chilly outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing gem!

We loved staying at gatehouse gardens! Wonderful location, very close to downtown newpaltz with a beautiful Pool and hot tub! Very relaxing! Owner on premises and available for assistance if necessary! (Although there was nothing we needed) also left fruit, eggs, coffee, milk and wine for us! Thought of everything to make us comfortable! This was our second stay there and we will come again! Highly recommend!

This room is in a great location near minnewaska for hiking , and the room has its own porch which was really nice The room was clean enough and had mini fridge and microwave.

Great hosts and location

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding at Mohunk. Rick was kind enough to wait up for me to arrive at midnight! Grounds are gorgeous and the room was clean and nice. It’s a flight up with your own entrance and attached to their house.

Private getaway in woods!

Wonderful clean and comfortable place to relax and unwind! Our mother daughter 2 day retreat was perfect especially with the pool and hot tub! The area has plenty to see and do! The host was very nice and accommodating! Just what we wanted!

Perfect location and beautiful property

We were in town to visit Historic Huguenot Street. The location of Rick and Cindy's property was perfect. We walked into town the first evening. The distance was perfectly walkable, and there is a trail that covers more than half the distance. The road was busier than we anticipated, and the section walking along it doesn't have much shoulder, so we got taxis to and from for the rest of our stay. It's a 5 minute/$7 ride ride, and the wait for a cab was never more than about 15 minutes. The property itself is spectacular - green and lush. The room was clean and spacious, and our hosts went to the trouble to stock the fridge with some food in case we were scrambling in the morning. There was a huge thunderstorm, and we sat out in the screened in gazebo to watch the rain and enjoy a glass of wine. We had a terrific stay, and we will definitely look to stay at Gatehouse Gardens again the next time we are in town. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!

Great Stop Over

I was passing through and a New Paltz alumni so it was a great stop over for me. Safe, clean, private and a great opportunity to visit with some old friends. Great hospitality. Property was beautiful and is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Location to New Paltz Main Street is great. Private, quaint and very relaxing. Rick was so nice and very helpful! Highly recommend!

The owner completely listed the property as private and it was not private, he lived on the premises had full view access to you whenever he wanted and we had to share the property with 5 other people, I already have a claim in and have reported this for a full refund

Great getaway

This place was wonderful. A lot more spacious than expected and clean. The gazebo was nice and relaxing to sit in and overlook the yard and pond. Close drive to the village and monhonk preserve. Thank you for letting others enjoy your wonderful home

peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful stay with breakfast on the deck and after dinner drinks in the screened in gazebo. The pool and hot tub made for a relaxing and refreshing time while on site (badminton was a gas as well). Rick gave helpful hints for things to do and this secluded spot is conveniently located just minutes from town.

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay! Rick is a wonderful host and is very accommodating and thoughtful. We enjoyed the hot tub on a nice cold day! It was prefect and we are planning to visit again in the next few months!

Felt like home

We were in NY visiting our son and wanted a place where we could come and go easily from his place to our place. Rick and Cindy's home was perfect. Not only was the room comfortable, quiet, and safe, but we were able to entertain our son too in the gazebo, large deck and yard with pond just outside our room. The extra touches--refrigerator stocked with breakfast, fruit, and wine, and the warm welcome from our hosts made us feel immediately at home and at ease. Every detail was considered in preparing our guest space! Thanks so much!

Tranquil Stay

The property is lovely along with the host. We were only there for two nights, but it was a wonderful place to stay and we are looking forward to our next visit. Bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Thank you!

Fall Getaway

Beautiful fall get away. Rick is most helpful. Private deck and screened in gazebo was ideal. Heated pool was wonderful. 2 miles from town of New Paltz. nice peaceful get away.

Beautiful Property, Great Location

Loved having our own private deck with gazebo overlooking the pond. Great location just over the bridge outside of town. So much to do we didn’t even have time to swim in the heated pool or use the hot tub! Comfortable and clean with attentive owners.
