Detta hus ritades av en konstnär för att maximera användningen av naturligt ljus med stora fönster och högt i tak.
Det nyrenoverade två sovrum hus är väl utrustad för din njutning. Den vackra utsikt över de omgivande ek skogsmark och bergskammar kan avnjutas från alla rum. I hela huset finner du lönn trägolv och uppdaterade apparater.
Köket är fyllt med massor av bekvämligheter i ett hem och en granit bar med plats för fyra.
I vardagsrummet finns en modern stol som är bra för att läsa och veck i en enkelsäng om det behövs. Vardagsrummet är utrustat med en 50 tums högupplöst smarta TV som låter dig strömma Netflix, lyssna på Pandora eller titta på en av de medföljande filmerna. Det finns också ett antal brädspel för familjen att spela. Den stora däck har utemöbler och en gasolgrill. Du kanske kan observera rådjur, kaniner och fåglar från däck och om du har tur kan du höra coyotes på kvällen. Huset är åtta miles söder om staden Mariposa bort av Highway 49 och 35 miles från två året runt entréer till Yosemite National Park (motorväg 140 och Highway 41).

Mountain house

The house is lovely, clean and great location to travel back and forth to Yosemite for the day. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it for your stay in the area.

Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP trip

Perfect location away from crowds in Yosemite. Took an easy day trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Nice local grocery store as well. Would recommend staying here to other travelers.

Beautiful

The House is wonderful and I would give it 5 stars but communication with the host was terrible. We didn't get our arrival instructions and code until the day before when she finally answered her phone. We had an incredible stay.

Peaceful retreat

Such a beautiful property. Located at the end of a short unpaved road up on a little hill. Very easy to find & so peaceful & private. My daughter & I were so happy here. We loved the wrap around deck with all the seating options to take in the views. The cabin itself is very cozy & comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, even the bbq grill. That was so much appreciated. We enjoyed the sounds of the coyotes at night. Very cool. We hope to come again next spring.

Clean and peaceful

We had a quick two-night stay at the property. We especially appreciated how clean and free of clutter the property was. It was well-stocked with essential kitchen supplies and tableware. We would've appreciated a fan to accompany the gas stove top. Also, the host lacked in responsiveness and required follow-ups at times. We would still recommend the property in spite of these things. The property is peaceful and serene and our toddler appreciated running around the wrap-around deck. It was a great homebase to visit Yosemite.

What a treat!

What an amazing property! Visiting yosemite for a few days and could not have stayed at a better location. Probably 50 minute drive to the park. The home was even more lovely than the pictures online. I wish I could live in something like this! Super clean, loved the aesthetic. Got to enjoy the late evening sunset on the deck and jam out to the guitar tunes. Beds were so comfy as well!

Cozy spacious cabin

Beautiful space both inside and out. Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, plenty of linens in bath. Great supplies in the kitchen for cooking meals. You’ll love the nature and all the animals that come to visit. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. My only ‘dis’ about the place is the bathtub area seemed to be skipped over in the remodel. But all in all would definitely recommend this cabin for your stay!

Quick Getaway

The property was absolutely amazing! Nature in all four directions and the windows let in beautiful light throughout the day. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning for coffee and in the evening for drinks. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The location was awesome and we were able to easily get to Yosemite for day trips. We would definitely stay here again!

Getaway at a beautiful house close to Yosemite

Loved the architecture of the house with its huge windows, spacious rooms looking out into the wilderness and porch spaces to sit out with your morning tea. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook most of our meals there. The house was impeccably clean and well thought out with books, games and television was entertainment. It was a 45 to 60min drive to the Yosemite park entrance. Will definitely want to visit again!

Quiet hilltop house, an hour from Yosemite

The pictures in the listing look great, in person it's even better. A beautiful, quiet hilltop house. Surrounded by greenery with tons of big windows to appreciate all of it. Comfy beds, and a great kitchen to cook in. A reasonable hour drive to Yosemite (you can barely get closer without staying in the park).

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I spent the week on the property and drove into the park every day. The home was a relaxing and peaceful place to stay. All the windows and natural light were amazing as well as the glimpses of wild life. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area.

We met in Yosemite National Park eleven years ago. Erica came out to Yosemite from Kentucky to work for the National Park Service Bighorn Sheep program. Josh moved to the Yosemite area in 1991 to work as a rock climbing guide, ski instructor and photographer. We are raising our two children in the Merced River Canyon below Yosemite.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love the rolling foothills of Mariposa and wanted to find a place to one day move our family to. We looked at many properties but this one spoke to us. From the moment we pulled up we felt a sense ease and look forward to one day living here. We also like that it is close to the amenities that the quaint town of Mariposa, and Oakhurst have to offer.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The sense of peace and calm that washes over you when you are at this location is what drew us to this property. We could picture retiring here just fine.
