The cabin had everything we needed. We had a family reunion and we had so much space for everyone. We enjoyed hanging out and visiting on the deck. I loved the sound of the babbling creek.pictures did not do it justice. It's very warm and inviting

Beautiful home surrounded by nature. Spacious with perfect accommodations for adults traveling with small children. We stayed the weekend of my daughter’s wedding at the Drumore Estate and it was fifteen minutes from the venue. There are some winding roads to get to the location but the beautiful scenery is worth the drive. I highly recommend for a family vacation in the Lancaster area!

A wonderful, secluded cabin in the woods with a babbling creek and tree frogs to keep you company. Our family found it very comfortable here and the surrounding rural area was tranquil. Our hosts had provided everything we needed.

Another wonderful stay!!

We love this Creekside Cottage!! It is so peaceful with the creek and has plenty of space for our extended family. Carol is wonderful to coordinate with and we have a fantastic time every time we stay!!

One of the best rental we’ve ever had

The spot is calm and very clean. A lot of room and space inside and outside. Close enough to Lancaster city so it’s east to go and far enough so you can live some wilderness experience. We all loved it.

Relaxing Getaway

Great Wooded Retreat

Our family stayed here during my brothers wedding weekend at Drumore Mill and it could not have been more perfect - lots of space, everything in the kitchen that you could need, comfortable beds, and TVs and speakers in nearly every room. Loved the seclusion and the space - would highly recommend a stay here for a large family or a group getting away.

Wedding stay

The property was just beautiful and had everything you could need. The decor was fun to check out and sitting outside was so peaceful too. Carol met us at the house upon arrival and was very helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Winter wonderland

This was our 2nd trip to Creekside Cottage, both times in January, both times with my extended family. We continue to appreciate the 1st floor master bedroom for our older parents (no stairs); the basement rec room for the kids; the well-appointed kitchen; and the marvelous view from the living room. Lots of snow on this trip, which the whole family enjoyed playing in and looking at from the warm interior. Great communication and support from the hosts. We'd definitely book again! Thank you for providing this great space for making memories!

Great Place to Relax

My family has stayed at this cottage several times and plan to return again. The house is very comfortable and has something for everyone, from the little ones wanting to feed the horses and explore the woods, to the older ones wanting to sit and relax on the deck or porch or by the fire pit. Carol is great to work with!

Another great stay

This was our 2nd annual golf outing with 13 friends staying at the cottage. Carol and Don are great to work with. Everyone had a fun time and the house is very comfortable and clean. Great hanging out at the fire pit, lots of laughs and memories made.

Our second stay

We had another great stay. Last time we stayed was in winter of 2017. We really enjoyed the outside this Labor day weekend...the screened in porch, the firepit, went fishing, used the grill, and even explored the creek. The home is beautiful, spacious, and they have thought of everything to make the stay relaxing and comfortable.

Seclusion

Carol was very quick to respond and accommodating. The property was large and very nicely located for peace and quiet. Our only drawback was the wifi was not very strong but overall we all enjoyed our stay.

About the Owner:
Don Wagner - Southern Lancaster County has been my home for my entire life. I live 20 minutes away from Creekside Cottage and had been in the Real Estate business for many years. It has been my vision to create a place for guests to stay while visiting beautiful Southern Lancaster County.
***Sadly, Don Wagner passed away on March 27, 2023. He is dearly missed by family and friends.
The Hosts: Laura & Kara are the daughter & granddaughter of Don Wagner. We plan to continue the tradition of hospitality at Creekside Cottage.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is adjacent to my country cabin and stables. The rich history and natural attractions in this area inspired me to build Creekside Cottage. Come relax and explore this beautiful area!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I designed Creekside Cottage with comfort and efficiency in mind. The wood used for the kitchen island, kitchen table, walls in the den and Master bathroom all came from the trees on my property. If you stroll down behind the cottage, you will discover the most amazing natural rock wall. If you desire to visit an authentic Amish community, then this is your place.
