Beautiful house with all the amenities including a wonderful wrap around porch with a swing. Our family, including our 2 month old grandson enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood walking distance to park, marina, and downtown Petoskey shops and restaurants. Gorgeous water and sunset views. Will definitely stay again.

Cousins trip

Headed up north with cousins for a cousins getaway - 6 of us total and this house was perfect for us! We had a family night in and cooked together and the space was large and open to so we could all be together. The view is amazing too! Super clean, spacious and great host!!

Great stay!

A fabulous place to stay. Everything was as indicated in the listing. Our host communicated very well including a last minute issue with the Master Bedroom shower. We will definitely try and stay at this location again!!!!

Exceptional option

The pictures posted on VRBO truly represented this home. The location is ideal with a close proximity to downtown, walking distance to the bay, beach, and walking paths. The home was beautifully decorated and we felt at home during our stay. Would 100% stay again.

Petoskey Cottage

My wife and I have been to Petoskey many times and chose the Petoskey Cottage for its location. The scenic Little Traverse Wheelway, a 26 mile paved bike and walking trail along the Lake Michigan shoreline from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs is only a 2 minute walk from the Cottage. The Bear River Recreational Area is 5 minutes away. Bayfront Park/Marina is a short 5 minute walk. An easy 10 minute walk up Lake Street gets you to downtown Petoskey. Johan's Bakery is a short walk in the opposite direction. My wife and I, both in our seventies, very much enjoyed our one week stay. The Cottage was clean, quiet and comfortable. The balcony is very nice with treetop views of Lake Michigan. There is a fenced yard if you bring along a pet as we did. The neighborhood felt very safe.

Came in for a family weddiing

We loved the property! We came from Montana and Japan for a family wedding in Petosky. The property was super clean, centrally located and was very well represented in the pictures and listing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway!

Stayed here with my wife and another couple to enjoy fall colors in the area. House was very updated and clean with plenty of room. Location close to town (walkable) and many hiking trails nearby. Beach access across the street from the house. Mike is very easy to work and quick to respond. We will be back next fall!

We loved this property!

There were six of us for a girls trip and we absolutely loved this property! This is a fully remodeled home that is spacious and extremely comfortable with very nice furnishings and amenities. A very roomy home. We would definitely stay here again, and I will recommend this property to family and friends.

Great get away

Petoskey is a beautiful town and being able to walk to the Shoreline and Bayfront parks was awesome. This home is in a great location. Super clean and has cute details throughout. The beds were super comfy and there’s everything you need to have a great getaway. This is a perfect house for two couples. It felt like home.

Wedding weekend stay

What a wonderful place and a beautiful view. Weather was perfect for a fall wedding. Very comfortable, felt like home. We even had chocolate, wine and some chips to welcome us in.

Beautiful house with Little Traverse bay view, large rooms and kitchen, excellent conditions, well stocked. Just 10 minutes or so from Lake Street stores on foot. We would love to come back.

Home Away from Home

It took us 3 years to finally get here, but we made it, and it was worth the wait. We loved this home. It's an obvious older home with lots of charm and character. We loved the location and the wraparound deck is so spectacular. You will definitely want to enjoy a meal out on the deck or at the very least, a cup of coffee in the morning while you are wrapped up in a blanket enjoying the tree tops around you and the glimpses of the lake. Just beautiful! The kitchen is so incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed making meals and having dinner at the large dining room table provided. The decor and styling of the kitchen, which I know was fairly recently renovated, is perfect. Again, we LOVED it!! It's hard to decide which was our favorite, the kitchen, or the living room. A huge living room with lots of seating and very comfortable seating I might add. The fireplace was enjoyed every night and the hosts provide games, books, and sizeable television to keep you entertained. The upstairs is a little dated, but that did not change it's comfort, quaintness, and function. It's all about a good night's sleep and that was not hard to achieve. The host provided plenty of additional blankets for warmth and complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms which is a lovely touch. We took turns sleeping in the primary room and you'll understand why when you see it. Loved the windows and doors that open to another deck, and then there's seating for two in front of the second fireplace. The only minor issues we had with the place were that there were a few dishes we found that were not clean and the potholders were pretty dirty but other than that, this was our favorite VRBO throughout our 13-day trip in the region. We enjoyed our time in Petoskey, very much. You are within walking distance of the downtown area but the neighborhood is super cute and quiet. We had no issues with noise at all. Mike, was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay and we will happily recommend this VRBO to anyone who may go to Petoskey!! :)

Great location.

The house was wonderful. The kitchen was fabulous with everything we needed. Views of the lake were a plus. We had plenty of room. Our only problem was that the couch in the master bedroom was covered in what looked like it might have been cat hair. My husband took advantage of the sweeper and cleaned off.
