Prime plats och stora bekvÀmligheter i ett litet paket lÀgger till exceptionellt vÀrde! Denna bekvÀma, tysta stuga i hjÀrtat av Jekyll har allt du behöver. Koppla av i skuggan av torniga levande ekar, plocka nÄgra leksaker frÄn skuren och promenera ner till stranden, eller ta nÄgra steg över till cykelvÀgen och utforska ön. Eller, om du hellre vill, gÄ ner pÄ vÀgen för att ta ett dopp i poolen pÄ Days Inn. TvÀtta av sanden med utomhusduschen, grilla sedan, laga din favoritmat i det kompakta, vÀlutrustade köket, eller Àta pÄ en av Jekylls mÄnga underbara restauranger. Efter solnedgÄngen, surfa pÄ nÀtet pÄ höghastighetsinternet, ta in din favoritunderhÄllning pÄ en storskÀrms-TV, ta en bok eller spela ett familjespel. Ta en lugn frukost pÄ den skÀrmade uteplatsen eller pÄ dÀck och hÄll ögonen pÄ att besöka rÄdjur pÄ den stora bakgÄrden nÀr du Àr redo att göra det hela igen!




Vi vill att varje resa till Beach Oaks ska vara bÀttre Àn den sista och stÀndigt förbÀttra stugan. För 2019 bytte vi ut tvÄ enkelsÀngar med dubbla XL, sÄ alla fyra singlarna Àr nu extra lÄnga för sömnkomfort för tonÄringar och vuxna. För att hjÀlpa dig att slÄ vÀrmen, lade vi takflÀktar i hallen, vardagsrummet och den skÀrmade uteplatsen (sovrummen hade dem redan). Slutligen lade vi till en skafferi i köksdisken, sÄ det finns gott om plats för mat och extra apparater (en elektrisk grill och en Instant Pot anslöt sig till samlingen i Är). I 2018 fick stugan omfattande uppgraderingar: helt ny VVS, omklÀdda möbler, ny fÀrg med ett avslappnande kustfÀrgschema, barnsÀker trÄdlösa persienner, nya kuddar och mycket förbÀttrad modern belysning. Stugan Àr matfri och har bara mattor för att accentuera de vackra, ursprungliga trÀgolv i vardagsrummet och sovrummen. Beach Oaks Àr hemma hemifrÄn för sina Àgare - gör det din ocksÄ!

Convenient location, musty smell

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this property twice in the last five years, and we like the location. It is convenient to the beach and a short bike ride to shops. However, the house is very musty - much more so in our more recent visit (June 2025). In fact, it is so musty that many of our clothing items and backpacks still smelled musty weeks after our visit even after airing them out. For the price that is charged for this property, I expect more, and I would hesitate to rent it again or to recommend it to others.

Wonderful visit

The property was just the right suze for the 2 of us. In fact there was plenty of room to accommodate a couple more people. The lication to the beach waa very convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, lots of windos so bright inside, room sizes were awesome, kitchen fully stocked with anything you would need, hangers in the closets and the location was perfect. The only issue is the bushes along the drive. It is very difficult pulling out as you can't see any walker of bike person until you're in the middle of the road. Those bushes should be trimmed down.

Perfect Beach House

We had so much fun! The beach access is just twenty or so steps from the house. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen is well equipped! The outdoor shower is the best. We hope to book again soon!

Every surface, (floors, windows, furniture, doorframes) were covered in grime and dust. The kitchen cabinets and stove had food particles stuck to them. A black spider had been squished on the white cabinet and left there. The upholstery on sofas and chairs was so dirty, stained and torn that we had to put sheets over them to sit down. The microwave, washer and dryer were so rusted they felt unsafe to use. The fire alarm would go off for no reason. This was the eighth house we have rented on Jekyll. It was by far the nastiest. Rental property takes a lot of abuse but even old places can be cleaned. We love Jekyll and enjoyed our time outside the house.
