The back yard with stream running all the way in front of the property was fabulous! We saw deer, elk, turkey and a bear all in the backyard! Amazing. Would rent again.

A beautiful location on the river. Peaceful and quiet. Place is an older cottage with updates and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Very convenient location next to Rocky Mountain National Park and a short drive to Downtown Estes Park .

Loved the cabin and property. River located right behind cabin which made it very relaxing to sit outside. We had elk, deer, and Marmots visit us. Would definitely come back.

Great location between downtown Estes Park and RMNP. The Big Thompson River is right in your backyard and we were able to sit outside watching and listening to the water! Very peaceful and quiet. We had several animal sightings: marmots, wild turkeys, deer every morning and evening, elk and a bear across the river! The cabin was the right size for our group of 3 couples with updated bathrooms and kitchen. The pictures of the property are accurate. Would not hesitate to book again!

Really enjoyed our time in this cottage. The house was clean and cozy, kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were spacious. But what we enjoyed most was the outdoor space with its beautiful view, sound of the creek, fresh air, and visiting wild life. Would come again!

Exactly what we were looking for…my husband was able to fly fish to his hearts content. What a treasure. The amount of land you have really gave us the feeling of privacy we were looking for. The location was perfect, we could run into town when we wanted to socialize and come home to retreat. Being able to be right on the river again was a highlight for both of us. The peace that comes from the mountains and a river …. Our happy place. PS. Wish we would have found the Adirondack chairs sooner. Found them to be so much more comfortable… but that’s all. The yard and waterfront access are very nice. There is easy access to restaurants and downtown. The space is good for our family of 6. The biggest negative and why we would not stay here again is the cleanliness. This place needs a DEEP clean and new blinds! The kitchen was dirty when we arrived- we had to clean the fridge and microwave before we could use them. The beds were okay- although the bottom bunks were uncomfortable per the kids. I would suggest that they hire someone to clean the walls, baseboards, cabinets.

Absolutely amazing stay! The property is beautiful with peaceful grounds and so much wildlife to enjoy. The front window overlooking the river was my favorite part of the home, I sat there with my coffee every morning and loved every minute of it. Truly gorgeous, relaxing, and unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back!

Loved the river and closeness to activities

My family had a fantastic stay! The river being right outside the house made for lovely mornings with coffee and a book, and evenings with a glass of wine. We were close to downtown Estes Park and several good restaurants.
