My husband and I took our two adult children and three grandchildren(6 and two 7 year olds) for a final beach vacation before school started. It was the best location just steps to the ocean and steps to the Balboa Peninsula. The grandkids loved being together and walking to the beach, to get ice cream and to take the ferry. It was a perfect end to the summer. Shauntelle was great to work with as host. Parking was convenient in the lot right in front of the house as well as a spot for one compact car in the garage. We hope to return for a longer stay next summer.

Awesome home in an excellent location! We rented the second story home for a group of 14 people and had more than enough room for everyone. I was a little worried about the size and condition of the futons but they were very comfortable and fit two people on them easily. From booking to check-in to check-out Shauntelle was extremely helpful and truly gave us a VIP experience. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that our stay was perfect.Our group will definitely be back again!

Our family group of 7 adults and 3 children recently enjoyed our stay in the upstairs unit.Shauntelle was wonderful to work with, very welcoming and clear about any questions we had. She easily provided us with some extra bed linens and towels we needed. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was absolutely the best equipped of any VRBO we have ever stayed at. Also there were boogie boards and sand toys for the kids to use.The property location is excellent, on the beachfront sidewalk near the Balboa Pier, and walkable to the fun zone and area restaurants, shops, and bike rentals. We liked sitting outside in the evening on the upper deck. We didn't use the coin-op washer/dryer, but liked the idea that the machine proceeds were donated to charity. With a bit of careful maneuvering, we were able to park in the garage. This is a lovely property and we had a wonderful beach vacation.

Shauntelle was so sweet & a great host. Check-in was easy via Facetime. She made sure we were provided with all requested extra towels, bedding, etc. & made sure we understood how everything worked (ceiling fans, tv, etc.). The place has an open floorplan and was spacious, allowing us to play games at the table while everyone else gathered around in the kitchen. There's plenty of seating in the family room. We especially loved the balcony with amazing ocean & sunset views!The location was perfect! We had lots of beach time. The bonfire pits were super close- we roasted hotdogs & smores. Balboa Fun Zone was a quick walk. We rented a duffy & enjoyed wine & charcuterie & then got matching toe rings on our walk back to the house. We never cooked at the house. Lots of great food in the area. (grab a sandwich from Lombardi's- yum!)We celebrated a 21st bday & went barhopping. Sometimes we ubered there & back. Sometimes we walked back to the house. It was perfect for our 3-night trip!

We celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday and this rental was perfect for us. The Vacation rental was very nice and clean. Three bedrooms and three baths but it felt much larger than that. Plenty of sleeping space and lounge area. Very good location close to everything and from the patio, the beach views were stunning. Shauntelle is one of the owners and very attentive and friendly. She made herself available 24 hours and responded immediately when we reached out with questions. I’m sure we will return soon if the dates allow.

Great location and host

Shauntelle was a very attentive host, ensuring a smooth check in and stay. She was very communicative and provided everything we needed before the stay and throughout it. My family and I had an amazing stay at Shauntelle’s beautiful beach house. Shauntelle is an incredible host, was very attentive, and ensured we had a “VIP” experience. We enjoyed walking to the beach, the ferry taking us to Balboa Island, and all the nearby restaurants. We’d love to be back soon.

great place. Our family loved our stay here. The deck was great and we enjoyed barbecuing and sitting outside at night. They Could offer more than 4 Towels and the floor was dirty. We give it a thumbs up and will be staying again

Our family had an absolutely incredible stay at this amazing Beach & Bay House! I honestly can't imagine a better location in Newport Beach. Where else can you find a home with direct access to both the beach *and* the bay? It truly gave us the best of both worlds.The house itself is perfect for large groups, with 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, and 2 dining areas. It felt like a luxury home away from home, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together.One of our favorite things was parking the car when we arrived and not needing it again until we left! Everything is within walking distance. The kids loved walking for ice cream, we rented great bikes from the shop right next door, spent time at the Fun Zone, rode the Balboa Ferry, relaxed at Baby Beach, and enjoyed the wonderful restaurants and shops nearby.Most of all, Shauntelle made us feel like VIP guests from the moment we booked. She was warm, professional, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had an unforgettable vacation. That level of service gives you complete confidence, especially if you're traveling from far away or internationally.This home offers the rare combination of an unbeatable location, an amazing house, and exceptional hospitality. We made memories we'll treasure forever and are already planning our return. Five stars isn't enough!

We had a great time with this beautiful property right on beach front. Easy accesses to all the restaurant/shops parking lot right in front of property. Very nice and clean equipped with all your needs Shauntell the owner was very nice and pleasant with an easy check in and out process.

This beach house is in a very good location and so conveniently located next to lots of shopping and restaurants. The layout of the house is great and very spacious. Shauntelle is great to work with. We give this place two thumbs up.

This place was a dream. You can't ask for a better location in Newport and everything inside the house exceeded our expectations. Great natural light, vaulted ceilings, and deck area that looks out over the ocean. The host Shauntelle was a gem as well. Super responsive and thorough in her instructions and communication. I would easily stay here again. We had 9 guests stay the night which was the perfect amount. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was awesome! The home was beautiful, clean had all the amenities that we needed. The bedrooms were spacious as were the other rooms. The most popular room was the patio, with its view of ocean! The location of this property was perfect. In between the beach and the FunZone and close to the ferry to go to Balboa. Shauntelle helped make the check in process easy and she was quick to answer questions. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and of course ice cream shops! I would definitely stay there again!

Great location and Great Host

If you know the area, this is not only a prime location, but gorgeous view. I can't say enough about our host. She was so pleasant and quite frankly we chatted for quite a while at check out but only because she was so fantastic. Highly recommend this location for 3 couples!

Newport spring break

We’ve stayed in a different property in Newport Beach previously and we definitely prefer this one over the house we stayed in last year. Shauntelle was an amazing host and super easy to work with. The property was as advertised and there were no surprises.

Spectacular home

From the moment we arrived, we didn’t want to leave. The home was perfect for our family’s needs and we loved the views especially. Our host was very friendly and took me on a tour of the home when we arrived making sure we knew where everything was for our stay. The location was perfect and within walking distance to all the places you’d like to visit. This home and its lovely location is perfect for those all day beach days. We were just a few steps away! VIP experience is an understatement We can’t wait to go back!

Birthday Beach Getaway

All I can say is WOW! This experience I had this weekend was wonderful! Our group of 16(9 kids, 8 adults) stayed in Newport Beach last weekend and we were so impressed by the lovely beach house we got to make memories in. The house was so clean, well equipped for whatever we needed, comfortable beds, easy walk to the beach/restaurants, and Shauntelle was amazing to work with! We will definitely be planning another trip to their property in our future!

Oceanfront Newport Beach

Amazing location, walkable to the beach, restaurants, shopping, anything you could need! Shauntelle was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to reach with quick response. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would stay here again! RECOMMEND getting the upstairs unit. The balcony view is Amazing.

Great House

Great house, super clean, should use a professional booking service. Way to much back and forth to book and arrive. Also, they should look into the electrical service, limited lighting, exposed electrical panels. Besides thank, I would recommend this house to anyone. Great layout, location, and super clean.
