We loved it! Clean and spacious, windows in each room open to the Arno River below and views. We could see the Ponte Vecchio and could hear the music/band and singers until 10pm. Lovely! Easy walk to everything we hoped to see (Piazzale Michelangelo, Uffizi, Duomo and Baptistery, shopping, train station) but will have to come back and stay again to see more. Benedetta and Migy were so good to us in every way. We will come back and send friends in the meantime. Thank you!

Our stay here was perfect in every way from the lovely reception we received to the location of the apartment. It is very well equipped, beautifully located on the river with totally unobstructed views of the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. We had a fabulous stay here and give Bernadetta and her family TEN STARS!!! And our gratitude for making our time in Firenze so wonderful.

It is exactly as posted. This flat is in a perfect location, quiet despite being right in the middle of everything, with all the amenities you might need - including a lovely lady next door, Miji! Truly perfection!

The perfect place to stay when you don’t have a car. Taxi stand and wine shop are just a few minutes away. Easy walk into town. It is without hesitation that we recommend this wonderful place.

Florence Apartment

Apartment was well furnished in a great location but the air conditioning did not work. With temperatures exceeding 32 C, it was very hard to sleep even with the windows open. However, the mosquitoes feasted on us as my wife and I had more than 5 bites each. Owner should have AC checked well before it heats up for summer, such as late April or early May!!!

Perfect! Look no further

The apt was fantastic! Great,quiet location. There is a nearby market, lots of restaurants. The apt is extremely clean, very quiet neighborhood. The apt is well equipped. Everything works well, plenty of hot water, great internet, best of all.. migi next door took care of everything, including calling us a taxi.I slept on the couch, very comfortable. Migi stocked fridge with water,coffee,cream,juice & fresh flowers. Look no further, the location is perfect. 2 minutes from ponte vecchio and petti palace/boboli gardens. I will definitely return!

A Treasured Stay

Location, location, location! This apartment is right on the River Arnol, directly across from the Uffizi and short walk to Ponte Vecchio. Also close to Pitta Palace, Boboli Gardens, and the relaxing Berdini gardens. Great restaurants are nearby. The apartment has everything most travelers need and an added bonus of one of the most amazing woman in Italy, Migi! She is the mother of the host and she lives right next door. She will make sure your stay is wonderful and answer any questions you may have. Stay here, you will not regret it.

What a great find

This property truly can't be beat. In Oltrarno (across the river from the main part of Florence), it is maybe all of 200 yards from the Ponte Vecchio. The view from the apartment windows is postcard-picture-perfect. And it is directly across the river from the Uffizi.The apartment itself is very comfortable and efficiently laid out. The kitchenette was perfect and the washer/dryer (all in one unit) was a nice amenity. We spent a fair amount of time just hanging out and relaxing there - both as a respite from the out-of-control Florence crowds and after the intensity of ten days of prior travel including a weeklong cycling trip through the Tuscany countryside.Perhaps best of all, the host, Migi, (who lives next door) is a delightful, elderly Italian woman who could not have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. We relished the chance to spend time with her.

Perfect location

This property couldn't be more perfect for a stay in Florence. The view of the Ponte Vecchio, the furnishings, and the special touches like water, milk, orange juice, and coffee made our stay very comfortable. Location is no more than 10-20 minutes from all the sights. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Florence, especially for the first time.

This is our third stay in this fabulous apartment. The position is amazing, both for the view and the convenience, central to everywhere.Migi who greeted us on arrival is a complete legend, style personified, gracious and so very helpful.The apartment is spotlessly clean, very well appointed and comfortable.What more can I say! A little slice of Italy

Words cannot express how great this place is. I read one review that said- “just book it”
 that is what I will say to anyone else. It is on the best side of the bridge, you can walk to tourism or away from it. There’s a grocery store below the apartment. Is clean and quiet. We went in April so it was still cool enough to leave windows open and the street noice was not noticeable. I’m a light sleeper too. The place- right next to Migi, the most wonderful woman who I wish was my grandmother. She’s respectful and supportive when you need her. She apparently doesn’t get to see these reviews, so please tell her how truly great she is. She offered for us to come over for some wine, unfortunately our plans were stocked full with adventure. But we loved the postcards under the door and will hang these in our home for memories. The kitchenette is MIGHTY! Everything you could ever need to cook. With every new rental, migi puts fresh flowers, creamer and juice for you. The couch turns into the comfiest pullout. The windows literally look over it all. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was great with a full washer dryer combo. I wish this was my place. If you ever stay there is a wine window down the way and a restaurant I wish we went to. Check out Di Bardi, it’s SUPER NEAT! Thank you Migi!

Incredible location 10/10

This property is a 10/10. We are so happy we found this. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The views are breathtaking - amazing- incredible.The location couldn’t be any better - when I say it’s close to everything, I mean it. Minutes walk to all the main attractions. The hosts were so friendly, available and responsive. You can tell they have pride in hosting with little details like fresh flowers. The bed is very comfortable, so is the sitting area in the living room. Wonderful little kitchenette and a washer/dryer is also in the bathroom. There are so many shops, restaurants and even a grocery store and bank right outside the door to the apartment. We felt very safe in the area, and the building was very secure. We think this is one of the best accommodations that you could possibly ask for in Florence. We will be back to this little gem.

Live live a local

The flat allowed us to just walk downstairs and onto the streets of Florence. The location is super convenient to everything you need in Florence. There is a grocery store right across the street, and eateries and shopping, all steps away. You are within 20 minutes of The Duomo, the Summit at Michelangelo and the Boboli Gardens is also very close. The best part of the experience was getting to meet our neighbors in the building. Michi and Magdalena made us feel like we were family. The experience could not have been better and we feel lucky to have been able to spend time with these two amazing ladies.

A gem on the Arno

Beautiful apartment, plenty of space with a great location and wonderful view. Migi, the hostess who lives next door, is a lovely woman who invited us over for a glass of wine. Our visit with her was one of our favorite experiences. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Florence.
