Great, close in, Big space

Excellent welcome by our host. 1’ to Duomo, 7’ Academia, well set up kitchen, dining room, sitting room, and porch in addition to a large bedroom with ample closet space. You can’t miss with this property.

Outstanding

Alassandro is a great host and his apartment is top of the line. Everything you could want for a long stay, as ours was 9 days. The location is absolutely perfect! Just minutes from anything in central Florence. There’s no question we will be staying here on our next visit

Charming, great location and welcoming host

Italian charm with all the amenities! Gracious host with wonderful recommendations. The only negative we experienced was that the oven pan and microwave were not cleaned from previous tennants.

Amazing stay!

Alessandro was an incredible host. He met us with the key and gave us so many amazing recommendations around Florence since it was our first time visiting. The apartment was clean, in an incredible location (Cathedral literally outside the door), and just all around a cozy, cute place. I highly highly recommend this place for your trip. We hope to be back in the future!

Great place with an amazing host

This property has everything one needs to feel comfortable and create a temporary home. With an elevator that starts on the ground floor, the apartment is good for those with mobility issues. Alessandro provides everything you need for a great stay. He is amazing host. Love this place and will be back.

Very nice apartment!

We stayed for a week mid April 2023 and we loved it. We were just yards from the Duomo, the biggest tourist spot in Florence yet the apartment was quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the apartment had everything we needed. We recommend this to anyone visiting Florence!

Incredible stay in Florence!

I can’t imagine a more perfect apartment in both amenities and location in Florence. Alessandro was super nice, helpful as we accidentally arrived early. This apartment is located within that shadows of the Duomo and is close to so many wonderful restaurants, attractions, shops & more. Just loved everything about our stay…and hope to return in the future.

Wonderful all around

The host was amazing to us after a terrible travel day, picked us up at the airport. It was after midnight and he even found a place open so I could buy a bottle of wine, above and beyond and so appreciated. The apartment is comfortable and perfect, best location in Florence

Fantastic location and host

This apartment couldn't have been in a better location. You could walk to everything in the old town of Florence. Alessandro was very helpful and was able to accommodate us arriving a little earlier than normal check-in time. He helped us get a very early morning taxi since I was having difficulties getting my phone to work. This had plenty of room for the two of us. We had a great time and would rent this property again.

Well-appointed place steps from Duomo

This apartment had everything we needed for a 12-night stay. The bathroom had great lighting and good storage. The closet in the bedroom is large and amazing. The terrace provided a nice place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The location is stellar and the elevator is great for mobility-challenged people. On top of it all, Alessandro was a great host! Wonderful place.

We have used vrbo on many occasions and have to say this was our finest apartment. The location was perfect, near the center. There was a ice cream shop,sandwich shop,a wine window,a supermarket all within walking distance. I can gladly say we will use the apartment again and will recommend our friends to look at using this apartment it is absolutely perfect for a holiday in florence

Quiet, roomy, comfortable

This apartment is roomy and very well appointed. My wife and I were so comfortable here. Another advantage is that it is quiet, which was a welcome change from the large crowds in Florence at Spring Break time. Alessandro is a terrific host. He stayed in touch with us and offered his advice and help in any way we might have needed.

Location Location Location

This was the perfect place for our four day adventure in Firenze! Alessandro was a great host and the communication was good from the beginning. He met us upon arrival and showed us how to work everything and also gave us detailed information for getting around Firenze. The apartment was very clean and furnished with all the amenities. The shower had good pressure and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. And, despite the apartment being a few steps from the busy Duomo, it was extremely quiet. The apartment is very close and within walking distance to popular attractions. My husband and I highly recommend this place for your time in Firenze. Wonderful apartment and perfect location

Alessandro’s warm welcome and the time he spent showing us the details his wonderful apartment were much appreciated. Deserves more than a rating of 5!

Alessandro was a perfect host! Upon greeting, he explained everything about the apartment and took the time to provide us with locations for attractions, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We walked to all of the sites on our itinerary; Duomo (steps away), Arno, Accademia - the list goes on! The apartment was well furnished and decorated. When we return to Florence, we will definitely stay at La Terrazza al Duomo.

Beautiful apartment, excellent location

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful apartment. It is very clean and cozy, with antique furniture and a perfect little terrace. There is everything you need in the kitchen, also extra linen, blankets, and towels, cleaning supplies, etc. We were met by Alessandro's friend Emiliano who gave us recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants. We were leaving very early in the morning and when Emiliano came to pick up the keys he even brought us fresh pastries for breakfast! Thank you, Emiliano and Alessandro!!

Florence Accommodations at Their Best

Alessandro, was a superb host. He spent an amazing amount of time with us going over everything and giving us some awesome tips on places to visit. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures and it was an absolute pleasure staying near the Duomo and allowed us to be close to everything. Alessandro was very prompt and helpful with answering any questions and helped us obtain a taxi to take us to a meeting point for our guided tour. I can't think of one bad thing to say about his place, you'll have everything you need and I HIGHLY recommend booking this place. If we ever visit Florence again, we will definitely stay here. Thank you Alessandro, you are an awesome host.

A Dream Spot

The apartment is perfect. A stone's throw from the Duomo, yet quiet and private; cozy; tall ceilings; a wonderful private terrace with fresh flowers. My wish list for any rental includes 3 things: great location; a terrace; and a bed long enough for me (I'm tall). This place had all three. The host, Alessandro, could not have been more kind and helpful. He told me of a few hidden gems in Florence that I would never have found myself. He checked in with me here and there to make sure everything was fine. And it was all better than fine - it was great. Can't recommend this enchanting spot highly enough.

Italy Wine Not Again

We loved our stay at the “Terrace to the Cathedral”. I feared the location would be noisy, but the apartment is extremely quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect for all of our activities. Alessandro was extremely helpful, meeting us when we arrived early, giving us detailed information about the apartment and the neighborhood. His cleaning lady was there before him, but even though she didn’t speak English she was very welcoming and helpful. We needed to text him a few times and he always responded quickly. Alessandro arranged our taxi our departure day when we couldn’t get a service to respond. The apartment was beautiful, and comfortable with two air conditioners, which was important for the July heat.The terrace was pretty, but it was just too hot to go outside for longer than a few minutes. The kitchen was well stocked even though we chose not to cook. I would be happy to return, and very happy to recommend to anyone looking for a property on VRBO.
