Jag byggde denna stuga som ett ställe att samlas med familj och vänner, att återansluta med de du älskar och koppla av och hitta lugn - jag tror att du kommer att hitta allt det här. Ny tennis- och picklebollplan !!!!
Jul- och nyårspriser är $ 245 per natt med minst 5 nätter.

Detta vackra specialbyggda timmerhus (maj 2006) ligger precis
utanför Boone i det gated community of Powder Horn
Berg. "Heaven in the Hills" är en 3 sovrum, 3 1/2 badstuga
med den BÄSTA utsikten på berget! Det erbjuder 2 stora däck, a
skärm veranda och en ny badtunna att sitta ute och titta på
ständigt skiftande himmel eller den spektakulära stjärnshowen på en klar natt. Du
kan till och med se rådjur, vilda kalkon och massor av annat djurliv bara
utanför din dörr! Detta hem har värme och luftkonditionering, gaslogg
Öppen spis, ett fullt utrustat kök med diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn och
Platt yta spis, utomhus gasgrill, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, 4 TV med

Always the best

It was a great place because it was cozy. The hot tub was amazing .we just loved 🥰 it so much . We’ve been a few times and it feels like home each time we’ve visited.

Great mountain house for the family!

Our family had the best time staying at this mountain house! The layout was great for our two boys! It was very peaceful gated community with a wonderful, hot tub and clubhouse where we spent time playing foosball pool and ping-pong. We will definitely be back.

Amazing view

This was our first getaway is over a year and this place did not disappoint. The views from the deck were amazing. The hot tub was perfect and relaxing during those cold but sunny days. The home is beautiful and has everything that you need. We even enjoyed a few inches of Snow during the last day of our stay. Thank you for making our stay just what we needed. We will be back.

Hot tub heaven

This is a beautiful cabin, and we really enjoyed our time here. My kids loved the hottub, my mom loved the stencils on the walls, and I enjoyed the wonderful view. This cabin has everything you need and is relatively easy to get to. We will be back!

Amazing views from a terrific house!

The house, the rooms, the hot tub, the view ... all of it ...even better then hoped for in every way. Just enough space and just enough common area for our family of 6 to play games, take naps, relax in the hot tub, etc. Location was exotic in the truly mountainous community but well maintained and easy to navigate. Travel time into Boone was a bit of a commitment but we just made more decisions ahead of time and got what we needed in fewer trips. Historically, we've always looked for the next / new / better place but we all discussed the idea of returning to this property rather than look for another. Terry responded to each of my questions promptly and thoroughly. The house was decorated thoroughly for Christmas as well - it was terrific. Highly recommend it.

Terry was very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions we had! The place doesn’t disappoint with its views! One note for the future is I wished one bedroom would be upgraded to a king size bed! Other than that, we will book again!

As close to heaven as it gets!!!

We had an absolutely beautiful stay!!! Cabin was very cozy, beautiful!!! We explored parts of Boone, mostly trail hunting and the water hole spots. We couldn't find the spot in the pictures but we ended up at the Upper falls and a few smaller spots. The area is stunning!!!

It’s been a few years since we visited Heaven in the Hills and it’s still just as lovely. My family had a wonderful time. Location is amazing. Long range views with a full moon rising are breathtaking. Would easily come back again.

This was the perfect mountain cabin for our family. It had all that we needed and was as described. It was a bit of a drive to town but the view made up for it. Absolutely recommend!

Holiday stay

We were drawn to the scenic beauty of the house. We were looking for a quaint and cozy place to stay while we skied for the weekend and this house delivered. Gorgeous views, lovely hot tub, and just a few minutes drive to Boone. Would highly recommend Terry and the cabin. Host was very accommodating and very kind to talk to. Hope to be back soon! Perfect Mtn Weekend!

The view from this house was absolutely stunning! I would definitely stay here again, but with plans to stay at the house more. Grocery stores and restaurants are a 20-30min drive which is perfectly fine, but we did not plan accordingly for that so just a heads up! Would definitely stay here again- especially in the warmer months as the neighborhood has a beautiful lake, pool, clubhouse, etc

To get away

Over all great property with a beautiful view. The neighborhood has a lot of amenities we enjoyed. It is definitely a decent drive to Boone center so just be aware of that.

Best Rental Ever!

In my experience, rentals don't always live up to the photos on the listing. This rental is absolutely not the case. Matter of fact, the photos didn't even do it justice. It was GORGEOUS! Extremely clean, remote, quiet, scenic, and just overall amazing. New appliances, great hot tub, fire table, etc. Very happy with our stay!

My name is Terry and my husband, Jeff and I live in Wilmington, NC. I grew up in upstate New York but moved to Raleigh and then to Wilmington when I was younger. We first went to Powder Horn Mountain when our kids were about 7 and 10 and had the best family vacation we have ever had. We loved getting out in the woods, hikng, fishing, animal watching and just getting back to pure family time. We returned every summer and then had the opportunity to buy a lot and build our own dream cabin. How lucky and blessed we are!
We have tried to make this cabin a cozy retreat for all who come to find peace and re-connect with nature and your loved ones.
