Kayadon 2 är ett välutrustat 2 sovrum, 2 badrum unik strandfastighet med en öppen konceptdesign. Glidande ladugårdsdörrar skiljer sovrummen från vardagsrummet och ger privatliv samtidigt som du håller en öppen känsla. Det främre sovrummet har ett privat badrum som öppnar sig för en utomhusdusch för att skölja bort efter en dag på stranden eller helt enkelt öppna duschdörren till utsidan och uppleva en dusch under stjärnorna! Det bakre sovrummet har också en badingång men delas för vanligt bruk. Vardagsrummet och köket är ett bra rum med ett öppet koncept. Alla möbler är nya med gott om sittplatser. Kayadon 2 sover 4 i sängar. Soffan är tillräckligt stor för att sova en femte person, men det skulle vara mysigt. Den främre verandan är idealisk för människor som tittar på och njuter av vädret. Det finns ett område för samlingsplats för avkoppling. Parkering i uppfarten för 1 bil och gott om gatuparkering.

This wonderful cottage was the perfect place for our family’s beach getaway. Very clean and close to the beach. A short walk to have our toes in the sand. Quiet at night and centrally placed in an amazing neighborhood. We will come back to this vacation rental for our getaways on a regular basis. Absolutely awesome!

Great Bungalow

This little bungalow was perfect for two people. The location is walkable to many restaurants, the beach, coffee shops, groceries, the seals. It is also well situated for driving and sightseeing both North along the coast and south into San Diego. Definitely worth a return visit.

Thanksgiving Family Weekend

Loved our time spent at Kayadon! This is the second time we have stayed at this adorable property. It is the perfect beach cottage in La Jolla. Love the location for walking to the beach, restaurants and shops. The owner and property management are easy to communicate with. The owner thought of everything one could need for a lovely getaway. And to put the cherry on top they allow dogs!!! Perfection!

Short but great stay

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. The house has been renovated; very nicely done. It is close to quite a few eateries and a grocery store. We were able to take a short walk to the beach.

Exceeded Expectations

This cottage is nothing short of magical: a brief walk to the beach where you can watch surfers or toss a ball for your dog; access to a fun and lively downtown; a short drive to the cove, with its beauty and active sea lion population; and the calm serenity of a beach night after any San Diego city excursions you may make. This was our hope when we booked this cottage, and it did not disappoint. What exceeded our expectations was the well-appointed nature of every room. We did not lack for kitchen utensils or supplies, soaps and plenty of towels were provided, and the place smelled and felt clean. Thank you, Terri (and Michael), for sharing your cottage with us! We would rent this again in a heartbeat.

Perfect stay!

My daughter and I stayed for three nights, and our visit was perfect in every way! The cottage is beautifully appointed with comfy beds, a quiet neighborhood and a kitchen well-equipped for cooking. We definitely hope to return.

Beach holiday

Beautifully decorated cozy cottage between La Jolla (.77 of a mile) and Bird Rock neighborhood (2 miles) and beautiful beach 1 1/2 blocks. Neat, clean and had a beach/surf vibe. Quaint neighborhood that is quiet and safe. Watch sunset through family room window, relax at fire pit, cook a gourmet meal in open kitchen, or grab a morning coffee for a predawn walk to beach. Great for no more than 4 adults or 2 adults with 2 children, bathrooms are self contained with water closet/shower combo that is unique. Fans and sound machines make for great sleep assistants. Cottage is one house in from main La Jolla Blvd but road noise was at a minimum. Easy to walk to down town La Jolla shopping or rent a golf cart and store in 2 car garage. Manager was attentive to our needs even when we had a plumbing issue. Definately would return for extended stay.

Thanksgiving 2023

Firstly, the cottage is immaculate, well appointed, and decorated perfectly!!! The location was ideal for our needs. We have stayed at numerous properties in La Jolla that are dog friendly and this one was by far the best❤️. This unit was the icing on the cake for a relaxing family reunion and Thanksgiving weekend. We look forward to a return visit!!!

Fantastic beach cottage

We enjoyed staying here SO much. The cottage was perfect for our needs! It was magical walking a few minutes to catch a glorious sunset at the beach. We could walk to restaurants and a grocery market. The neighborhood is gorgeous! The cottage had everything we needed and was spacious for two couples. We enjoyed the outdoor space. Michael and Terri are great hosts and we would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to friends. It was the perfect La Jolla stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Would stay again!

Me, my husband and 2 grandkids were very comfortable at the La Jolla Beach Cottage. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great. We loved the outdoor shower, bottle of wine and the decor of the cottage. We walked to the beach several times and appreciated the use of the sand toys and sun umbrella.

I am so happy to offer my wonderful property to singles, couples and families! After my husband lost a 5 year battle to cancer, I decided to move from Louisville, KY back to sunny Southern California where I was raised. I bought the Kayadon cottages with a vision to provide an upbeat beachy vibe to vacationers who like to be in the thick of it all! So, I took all my energy and oversaw every detail. I wanted the cottages to be somewhere I would stay. My husband and I have traveled the world and I know what it takes to be comfortable. But honestly, you can't get it all perfect. So, let me share with you the things you should know to make your stay memorable. Where to eat, how to cut down on street noise, the best way to get to the beach, what hours you can take your pet to the beach off leash, etc. I'll share what I know and you can educate me as you learn fun facts, too!

Varför värden valde detta boende

You are truly at a beach bungalow. Hop on your bikes to take a cruise around the neighborhood or to the beach, village or nearby restaurant. The Cottages are well equipped with plenty of movies, games and books. Relax inside or watch the people and the cars go by while sitting on the front porch. It's fun to strike up a conversation with a local as there is plenty of foot traffic heading to the beach. If you're looking for a secluded location, this is not the place for you!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The Kayadon Cottages are small and cozy but efficient with every nook and cranny utilized. Both bathrooms are "wet bath" with the shower, sink and toilet using an open concept. The front bedroom (master) has an adjoining outdoor shower for showering after the beach. Or just open the bathroom door to the outside and feel free to experience showering outside in your "all together!" Of course, there are walls!
