This beautiful A-frame cabin is surrounded by birch trees and overlooking a beautiful summer garden. It's a perfect retreat for travelers looking for a restful stay on their way to/from Denali National Park. The cabin is located less two miles from the Parks Highway and 1/4 mile from Talkeetna's paved bike path that can be enjoyed year round. The cabin is also within walking distance to the states 2nd largest brewery....Denali Brewing Company! Guests can enjoy a private entrance/deck to access a cozy modern cabin that is equipped with all the amenities of home: a full kitchen with stainless steel countertops, full bath, washer/dryer, fire pit, propane grill and more! Enjoy the tranquility of the birch trees and wild roses while having easy access to everything Talkeetna has to offer!

Loved Wild Rose Retreat! Was perfect for our stay in Talkeetna. Short drive into town and close to brewery which was a great place to have dinner and listen to music on a rainy evening! Holly was very accommodating and her place was clean and cozy! Thank you!

Great utilization of space. Very comfortable stay. All as advertised. Holly got us a discount on our flightseeing tour around Denali out of Talkeetna Air Taxi. We walked to the Denali Brewery Co, had a great gyro from the food truck, had a bonfire upon return and got to meet the cute dog.

The upstairs accommodations were clean, adequate for a couple. The bathroom was a tad small and awkward but that did not affect the stay. I would stay there again

The property was very nice. The room was clean and well equipped. It’s a decent space but is basically one big room with a bathroom. The bathroom is separate from living space, to be clear. The bathroom is cleverly designed but wouldn’t be great for tall people. The room has a lovely deck that looks out to the yard/trees. It is upstairs from the owners’ space and there were no noise issues. Plenty of parking also. It was close to Talkeetna and the brewery near the unit was very good.

Clean comfortable, outside seating with fire pit. Coffee bar with good supply of coffee pods. Washer and dryer to use.Kitchen had everything needed to prepare food.Very peaceful would recommend and also stay again if in area.

Cozy place to stay

Was extremely satisfied with this cozy stay just about 12 minutes from talkeetna. The place was clean and welcoming. The bathroom was small but my husband was still able to use it at 6’5”. If you need a place to stay this is it!!

Parking was easy. Instructions for entry were easy. Nice and clean. Bed was super comfy. Had a moose in the area that we had to be wary of. Other than it was a great experience. Loved the trivia night at Denali Brewing Company. If going to Denali in winter, the Winter Visitor Center is closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Our host was great at communication and giving suggestions for local places to eat. The home was clean and cozy! I loved that she had games there as it gave us something to do on the evenings.

My first visit to Alaska was in 2005. I instantly fell in love and returned many times to explore the mountains, rivers and trails. My heart always brought me back to Talkeetna; a quirky little community that just always felt like home. In 2020 I had the opportunity to make some life changes and decided it was time follow my heart and find a new “home”. So this Texas gal packed up and headed north. It has been an amazing adventure so far and I’m excited to continue on the journey of discovery as I share with the world my love for Alaska!

You’ll find peace and quiet here while still being close to everything Talkeetna is famous for. Perfect for travelers exploring Alaska by road or for those who may want an escape from town for a while. We are easily accessible from the Parks Hwy if you're looking for a place to rest and relax on your way north to Denali National Park! It's also a perfect winter retreat with well maintained roads throughout the winter and easy access to the cross country ski trails our area is famous for!

We are conveniently located just 2 miles from the Parks Highway and only about 5 blocks from the 2nd largest brewery in Alaska. But you would never know it as we are nestled quietly within the birch trees, surrounded by nature!
