Terrific Tuross

This property was amazing and just what we needed. The pantry was well stocked, and the fridge had the essentials (milk, butter and eggs). We were late to check in, but this was not a problem. We will definitely be back to visit again.

Wonderful location, beautiful house, just perfect for a holiday

What a lovely house in a wonderful location. The house has been renovated to a high standard and it is equiped and appointed just as though the owners live in it and just moved out for a week. Thoughtful kitchen accessories and some fun photos and prints on the wall. Friendly, warm, but unobtrusive, hosts. I throughly recommend this property and will be back. Thank you.

Perfection!

Blue Hills is a charming cottage in a most beautiful garden. Everything about our stay was perfect - from the delicious supplies left for us in the kitchen to the fascinating books, music and DVDs to the comfortable bed. Lovely scenery, breakfast on the sunny deck, a stroll down to the boatshed cafes - what more could you want?

Delightful cottage stay in a perfect spot

What a gorgeous find! The most delightful cottage set in a large beautiful garden. Two decks for snoozy cheese and champagne on sunny afternoons. Very tasteful renovation. Eclectically pleasing furnishing and decorations. Lots of fun games, books and DVDs. So close to the Boat House Cafe and the Pickled Octopus We loved our stay and would love to come again

Blue Hills Cottage

We loved our time at Blue Hills. The cottage is in an excellent position with a short walk to the Boathouse cafe and the Pickled Octopus restaurant. However, our experience at the Pickled Octopus left a lot to be desired. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed except bedside lights that could be turned off without getting out of bed. It is in a delightful garden, immaculately kept, and the deck on two sides is a great place to enjoy meals or a relaxing read. Inside is inviting and has a warm, comfortable feeling. We would definitely wish to stay there again if we visit Tuross Head and would have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends.

Highly Recommend

Blue Hills was our first trip away since Covid so anticipation and expectations were high. The little cottage lived up to both. Exceptionally clean with complimentary items and touches rarely seen today. Beautiful gardens and outside spaces along with proximity to the Boat Shed cafe and restaurant made it an ideal location for our needs. Thanks Lynne and her team for making it a straight forward and relaxing stay.

Don’t miss this one

Beautiful renovation of a charming 1930’s cottage. The owners were extremely welcoming by stocking the fridge with supplies, flowers from the garden and good linen. They thought of everything to make our stay very relaxing and the property is surrounded by a much loved garden. Quiet location, immaculate and a privilege to stay there.

Gorgeus cottage, spacious grounds, great location.

Great communication from the managing agent who met us at the cottage promptly for check in and to ensure we were happy with everything. The cottage has been beautifully renovated, is comfortable and very well equipped. Grounds are spacious and fully fenced with great outdoor sitting areas. Really good location close to the start of cycle track and the boat ramp and a short stroll to the boatshed cafe and awesome pickled octopus restaurant.

Comfortable cottage and beautiful garden

Very comfortable quaint little cottage. The garden is stunning, we enjoyed breakfast outside with lorrakeets in the gum tree next door. We loved it!

Blue Hills was great!

We loved the simplicity and comfort of cottage - tasteful but not over the top. The cottage was immaculately clean and equipped with all we needed for our stay. There was a generosity you don't always find in holiday rentals - such as good quality tea and coffee, eggs, milk and bread on arrival. The deck area was a great space for catching the sun with a coffee or wine in hand. The well-fenced yard was a great space for our pooch and the garden is really quite lovely.. the young frangipanis near the deck were still flowering which was a treat. Thank you.

Excellent cottage

The renovations inside are of a very high standard. Good quality appliances. Large fully fenced yard. Only drawback is the amount of stuff in the house. I understand the period decor but there is too much. There is not a flat surface in the house that isn’t full of stuff. 3 buffets and footstools only make the house smaller to get around. Sometimes less is better. Kind regards Glen
