Walking distance to everything

We love coming here, being our third visit. We can walk to several grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, and even an amazing mall (which also hosts an amazing farmers market). Plus, the cottage is clean, quiet, and quaint.

Our LA Home

This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting our daughters in Sherman Oaks. It includes all the conveniences, is located near many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, and is simply a clean, cozy place to stay.

Great Stay

I enjoyed my stay at this spot. They had everything I needed, and nothing I didn't. Everytime I thought of something I needed, I checked and it was there. The sign of a good host. Also the friendly neighbor pup who would poke her nose under the fence each day and lick my hands was nice too. Will be back.

Fantastic Stay!

Great stay in an awesome and very functional place! Perfect for a single or couple. Total bonus that is has a super cool and comfortable outdoor space as well as a washer and dryer in unit. If you like to cook, it is well appointed with all things needed, including a center counter Viking stove. I can’t say enough. Hosts were very quick to respond, courteous, and kind.

We were very comfortable in this apartment. It was very convenient to any and all amenities. TV access to our streaming accounts was easy and available. WiFi was acceptable for zoom meetings. Kitchen had all of the essentials.

Great stay!

William was very responsive to the requests we made. The washer/dryer and dishwasher were greatly appreciated. The bed is very comfortable. Very good water pressure in the shower. Linens, blankets and towels were all good quality. The birds dining in the morning felt just like home.

Close to Universal Studios

Andrew was a very accommodating host, willing to promptly address any concerns or requests. This guest house is located in the back yard of their family home within close proximity to the freeway and a busy street so it isn't completely quiet if that's what you're looking for. This is L.A. afterall, so we weren't expecting complete silence. The shower has great water pressure and the hot water is instant. The temperature numbers for the oven are worn off, so not good for baking anything at specific temperatures. Overall we enjoyed our stay here for a week, with visits to Universal and Six Flags. Thanks for the hospitality.

Thoughtful Abode

The owners have obviously put a great deal of thought into supplying prospective occupants with all necessary items for their stay. It is clear they put the same thought into the actual remodel. We felt like welcome guests. This is a clean, modern, liveable unit. It is attractive inside and out. It was too cold to use the tiny private patio but nice knowing it was provided. The bed is comfortable. The closets are ample and provide plenty of storage. Towels were fresh. Parking was easy. The location is central to a mall, Whole Foods and restaurants. It was COMPLETELY quiet, day and night. I did not actually meet Andrew, they were out of town, but we communicated easily. I can recommend this unit as a wholly positive experience.
