Nigh Tides

En Yachats enda historia Ocean View Home kommer snabbt att bli en familj favorit! Om du letar efter äventyr hemma ligger nära den vackra 804 Trail som är garanterad att få hem lugn, utsikt över valar (i säsong) och många skal från Smelt Sands State Park. Det kommer att finnas massor av möjligheter till bra foton, glöm inte din kamera!

Hemmet har underbar utsikt över havet från vardagsrummet, där man bara kan sitta och koppla av, läsa, eftersom den är separat från Familjerummet, där TV: n ligger. Den stora bakdäcken är solig och privat, och har också lite sittgrupper i trädgården. Hemmet är också utrustat för familjen roligt med ett bordtennisbord, 9 fotkorgbollshop och flera Yard-spel som krocket och badminton. Home hade också en "Gamla skolan" videospelkonsol med 60 spel och en stereo som kan anslutas till iPhone / iPad och en stor samling DVD och Böcker.

Nigh Tides är centralt beläget och en kort promenad till centrum av Yachats. Biblioteket är nere i slutet av gatan den 7: e, Farmers Markets ligger på den 4: e, liksom Bageriet. Så många bra affärer att se och besöka. Livsmedelsmarknaden ligger precis vid huvudgatan och många fantastiska restauranger också !! Stranden är tillgänglig genom att korsa bron över Yachatsfloden och vänder omedelbart till Yachats Ocean Rd, där du kan spendera timmar på att titta på tidvattenbyten, medan du är på sandstranden. Vandringsleder är överallt, och alla måste gå till Cape Perpetua och Sea Lion Caves!

Waldport är bara uppe på vägen av 8 miles, hem för Dungeness Crab, och du kan hyra båtar eller krabba från bryggorna och få det kokt ner i hamnen !! Husägare har ett nytt bordtennisbord inrättat i garaget för bra "inomhusunderhållning"! Börja några familjeturneringar !! Så mycket att göra medan här, och det här hemmet är så bekvämt att komma hem till, blir det en favorit på din lista !!

Great Space

Neigh Tides was a great space for our weekend. The place was spacious, with lots of cozy seating for a relaxed weekend. Beds were comfy.

Perfect place for a family reunion

This property was even better than the pictures and those were amazing! There was plenty of room for our family of 7 without feeling cramped. It was very well stocked with essentials to accommodate 7 people. The kitchen was large enough for multiple persons to do meal prep and walk around! In fact, family members asked if we could come every year to this beautiful home. We came to the area for a family wedding. I highly recommend this location for your next trip !

Coastal Hideaway

This beautiful property was close to the coast and walking trails. The people were friendly and respectful of social distancing due to COVID-19 and we appreciated that! Thank you for a relaxing stay!

Great location

Great location in the residential neighborhood of Yachats, if you are ok with walking the 10 minutes into town or to the trail along the rocky beach. Enjoyed sharing the home with some family, it was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately neither queen bed was very comfortable and the pillows in the master bedroom were awful (luckily I travel with my own pillow).

Great location, tidy property

We would certainty stay here again when in Yachats! The house was very clean and it was fun to have options like games and DVDs. It’s easy to walk to dinner or morning coffee and breakfast. Only constructive feedback is it would be nice to have fluffier pillows in the master - they are pretty flat. On the other hand the comforter was great!

Perfect family get-a-way

We loved our stay at Nigh Tides! The home is very clean, bright, well stocked, and comfortable. Easy walk to market, restaurants, the best seafood ever (Luna Sea), and Bread and Roses bakery. Easy access to shore walks both north and south. No traffic noise, just the sea. For us it was the perfect spot for our nature loving, book nerd crew to curl up on the comfy couch in front of the huge windows with a good book and cocoa after long chilly walks and hikes. Thanks for a wonderful week in Yachats!

Property is very good, but the cleaning fees and host fees are too high

Kids had very good time staying at this place.. Lot of indoor games. Cozy place, but the host fees and service fees was pretty high. I am not sure if there is a way to get away with that or reduce it.

Delightful coastal getaway!

Our stay at Nigh Tides was absolutely perfect, and we were so impressed by the way Meredith Lodging had everything set up. The location is wonderful- the coastal ranch home is situated in a beautiful residential neighborhood, with a coffee shop within walking distance, and a quick, 2 minute drive from the Yachats market (C&K Market) and the town's pretty awesome restaurants (including Ona, Luna Sea Fish House and Beach Street Kitchen). Reviews we read earlier mentioned the pillows not being up to par so we brought our own. The house was superbly clean and had all the kitchen utensils/appliances you could need for your stay. Bathrooms are equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and a hair dryer. This home is perfect for a couple or a large family/multiple families, with a twin-full bunk bed in the "kids room". The backyard is large and we enjoyed a game of croquet and played some ping pong in the garage as well! Clean-up procedures were clearly laid out on the fridge. Overall, we found the office staff to be very accessible and friendly via email. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Good walking location

Easy walking south along the ocean path to downtown. Nice benches to stop and watch the sea birds. Going north up the coast, the path is a bit more ackward, but great viewing. Good places to walk down to the beach/rocks. very dramatic. The house was clean and easy to use. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen for meals. Had trouble using the TV/DVD, but a maintenance person came to establish connections. A few minor points they can easily take care of: the night light in the master bedroom is out, the rock light in the master bedroom does not work, the toilet seat in the master bath is lose. It would also be nice to have some window cleaner to clean the bird mess off the front windows. The house is light and airy. You can also see a bit of the ocean to keep an eye on the fog situation. We did have a few days of some sun, but we really came here to cool off, not sunbathe. The local market was pricy, so we went to Ray's in Waldport. The Sunday farmers market was great, we got a lot of "ripe" vegetables.

Had a very good stay

We enjoyed our stay at this house in Yachats with my wife and four kids (ages 11-16). The house has ample space and is reasonably well equipped. While not next to the beach and/or restaurants, it's still within walking distance or a short drive of both. The house's exterior and interior is a bit tired/dated which is the reason for only a four star rating. However, it was a good value so this offset what was missing in terms of the fit/finish of the home itself.

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfectly sized for our family of 4. Yachats is a gem of the coast and this home highlights its best feature, small town amenities, everything within walking distance with awesome shops and amazing food. Highly recommend

Overall a nice stay

I’ve stayed in many rental homes and I have concluded that the small details are what makes the difference. This home, while immaculate and beautiful, missed the mark on a few details for our family. Kids wanted to play ping pong but all but one ball was broken. Same with the badminton rackets. We didn’t have enough pillows and when we requested more I was told that housekeeping would bring some by-this never happened. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc, but no paper products. Finally-I really thought we had beach access nearby but I misread the description. When it says “go across the bridge over the river” it means in your car. While there is a beach within walking distance (4-6 blocks?) it’s quite rocky and not a place to spend an afternoon. I would’ve chosen a different property had I understood this as our number one priority was the home being near/on the beach. All in all-if you want a beautifully decorated and immaculately clean home to stay in and are okay with a partial ocean view and a rocky beach-you’ll love Nigh Tides!

Great house

This house was beautiful, with lots of natural light. It was well laid out for our family with three teenagers who refuse to share a room...one of them slept on a couch but that wasn’t inconvenient because there are two living room areas. The yard was great and we had fun playing all the games and ping pong. The one thing that was weird was several hours before we arrived the property manager called and said that due to a car accident the cleaning crew wasn't able to get to the house in time and so she wanted to move us to a smaller house in waldport. I was very flustered by this and was not happy but then while i was still on the phone the cleaning crew called and told her that traffic had started moving. I am only writing about this because i want vrbo to realize people choose certain houses and towns for reasons and the lady was very casual to assume we would simply rearrange our entire weekend and boarding plans rather than just wait a few hours. It just made no sense. Other than that the house was great and I was happy with everything.

Perfect Accommodations

This property was perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed playing the board games and ping pong during our down time. I’d recommend this property for a family traveling with kids. There are plenty things to do to keep them busy.

Excellent location, poor hot water

The location in relationship to the town, ocean and trails can’t be beat. It was a very comfortable house. Be aware the hot water heater isn’t the best — ran out of hot water when taking multiple showers back to back. Otherwise a tremendous place.
