Stephan was an amazing host! Fully furnished, comfortable and close to all you would need! Close enough to Broadway but far enough to enjoy some quiet as well! Home is tasteful & one of a kind! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cozy, clean, convenient

We loved the fireplace! It had comfy beds and furniture. Very clean! The owner thought of anything you might need and provided so many amenities. Professionally decorated inside and not a place for wild children, pets, or parties. In an upscale, quiet neighborhood but just a few minutes drive to great shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful place to stay in Nashville

Great location, 10/15 minutes from downtown Nashville near great retail, The Bluebird Cafe, and an area of gorgeous homes. A fantastic getaway from the craziness of Lower Broadway, this place is peaceful and decorated like home, only nicer. Every inch of this home is thoughtfully done. I hope I get to come back soon.

It will take you a while to appreciate the detail in artistic expression that the host has created for his guests. Perfectly Appointed; But the Host is the Best Part!

This is, by far, the BEST VRBO I have ever stayed in. If you have ever dreamed of living in a perfectly appointed home, this is your chance! The home is a feast for the eyes and abounds with details! You will feel at home immediately and wonder how you "lucked" upon such a beautiful place! However, the best part of the whole stay is the owner. One of his "super powers" is the ability to quickly connect with people. He warmly welcomed our family and made an already special visit even more so. Stay here. You will be so happy that you did!

Perfect In Every Way!

Wedding week and weekend at Belle Meade Historic Site

Stephan is a wonderful host! You could not ask for better! Our daughter was getting married and weeks beforehand, he suggested several people that might could help us out with flowers and other items. He made an awesome apple pie that was enjoyed by several friends and family that stopped by! It was so delicious! This was a very busy week for us with bridal luncheon, rehearsal and the wedding so we had a lot to take to each of these events and Stephan was just accommodating on every level! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cozy cottage

The cottage was the best part of our trip! Communication from Stephan was great and very easy to reach him. The location was perfect: safe neighborhood, within 10-15 minutes of most of our destinations. The décor is beautiful - Stephan's attention to details and tasteful touches are appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation. We arranged to bring our dog with us, and he was welcomed by Stephan too! So many homes have a list of rules that are not really pet friendly - we appreciated that this was not the case here. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us!

Charming house, great location, and perfect host

This beautifully designed home in the Green Hills section of Nashville has to be one of the most perfectly comfortable, relaxing, and convenient spots from which to tour Nashville. Located just seconds from the Hillsboro Pike which offers up every conceivable retail need imaginable, it also provides easy access into town. The #7 blue bus leaves every 15 minutes from Hillsboro and takes you into town for a mere $1.70 each way and you can exit at any of many stops or ride to the end and be in Music City headquarters. This may prove far preferable to hunting for a scarce and super expensive parking spot downtown or even a costly Uber ride. The home is a delight to return to after a day of sightseeing. The screened in porch and patio offer peace and a lovely respite in the midst of a very pretty neighborhood. The house has everything you could want - and it all works. When we first realized Stephan lives in a separate apartment downstairs, we had privacy concerns. No need! He has mastered the art of being available but not intrusive. He is a dedicated and caring host, committed to delivering a wonderful experience to his guests. You will be hard pressed to find a better host anywhere.. We have nothing but glowing praise for this property and will remember our time here fondly. We highly recommend.

A lovely cottage in a great location when visiting Nashville

The Corner Cottage was exactly as shown in the photos, which was such a relief. When we entered the house we were also greeted with the enticing aroma of just-baked apple pie that was left for us to enjoy on the kitchen counter. The refrigerator was surprisingly stocked with bottled water, canned soda, different beers, and other items we used during our visit. There was even an assortment of coffee for the Keurig coffee maker. It was also nice to see laundry and dishwasher detergent in the cabinets, shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and all the paper products we’d need during our stay. This is a very relaxing, cozy and comfortable house that’s great for entertaining, inside and out. And last, but not least, Stephan was a thoughtful host and interesting to talk to. He entertained us with stories of the area and how he came to be the owner of this cute cottage. We left feeling like we’d made a new friend.

where new space planning is needed. Now, I can share my own home, full of artistry and creativity, with guests. It has been and continues to be a 5 star experience. For those who visit "The Corner Cottage" they bring new memories...new friends!
My eye for detail has been featured on HGTV ... 4 episodes, not bragging but proud. I have to say, being a VRBO host is the best job I've ever had. I do live in the basement with my own outside entrance. There is NO access to the main floor from downstairs. I am very serious about noise from below. Guests will never know I'm here unless they need something.

There is not another area of Nashville so desirable as Green Hills. I moved from Dallas in 1991 and have never left. There is a sense of peace in this house felt by everyone who visits. An undeniable calm and relaxation is felt the moment you walk in the door. It's not about the furnishings or amenities. There is a familiar presence of coming home.

There are architectural elements that made me want to purchase the cottage. First, I turned a 1939 house into a twenty-first century open living plan. Two French doors open to the fresh cool morning air on the screened porch for coffee or evening visits over a glass of wine. So many qualities about this cottage are experienced by those who come for a stay.
