Undangömt pÄ en lugn bostadsgata Àr det bara en kilometer frÄn Grand Ole Opry, Opryland Resort and Convention Center, Opry Mills Mall, filmer, restauranger, General Jackson Showboat Äkattraktioner och fantastiska promenader / cykelleder. Bara 10 minuter till centrum och 15 minuter frÄn flygplatsen. VÄrt mysiga hem har en fantastisk utsikt över floden Cumberland, badrum med badrum, 32 "platt-TV och Wifi / kabel. Den har vackra trÀpaneler i hela husets huvuddel och trÀgolv. LÀmplig för 4 vuxna. Vi har ett vÀlfylldt kök och erbjuder fina sÀngklÀder och det nödvÀndiga som schampo och tvÄl. Detta hem Àr pÄ en gata dÀr TV-program skjuts för att ge intryck av att instÀllningen Àr ute i landet. Detta var vÄrt hem i flera Är och vÄra vÀnner kallade det Hobbithuset. OmstÀndigheter tvingade oss att flytta till ett större hus bara fyra dörrar bort, men vi Àlskade det hÀr huset för mycket för att sÀlja det, och Richard brukar fortfarande sin ekologiska trÀdgÄrd hÀr. Kom till Nashville och njut av attraktionerna, kom sedan hem för att koppla av och titta pÄ fÄglarna, djurlivet och bÄtarna gÄr förbi. Som en av vÄra glada gÀster sa: "Det Àr som att vara i landet och staden pÄ samma gÄng." RSTR-tillstÄnd # 2016030672.

Perfect location to explore Nashville. Loved the deck overlooking Cumberland River. Cottage was exactly as photos portrayed. Interior was clean and tidy. Owner had homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us upon arrival. Would definitely go back.

Charming Cottage Excellent Location

Richard and Sherry were wonderful to work with! Communication was excellent. The cottage is very charming and peaceful with a great view of the river and birds. The location is terrific! Near the Grand Ole Opry and easy access to the freeway to visit all Nashville areas. We had an awesome stay.

Amazing home and great location

The house was perfect! Very clean and we loved the patio overlooking the river! The location was nice too - about 15-20 minute Lyft and Uber rides to Broadway!

Perfect in every way. We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was so hard to leave! Sherry and Richard are excellent hosts. So many wonderful thoughtful details. Morning coffee and bird watching on the deck was a favorite part of our trip to Nashville. Sleeping in the super comfy bed was another favorite part of our trip! And the location is awesome. Close to downtown, but there is also so much to do within a few miles of the cottage. Some of the BEST music we enjoyed was at the clubs just a few miles away. If we make it back to Nashville, we sure hope this very charming river cottage will be available for another stay!

Cabin on the River

We enjoyed our stay, so nice to be able to sit or eat meals on the deck with a view of the river. Nice rustic, quiet, clean and well stocked cabin, fun to watch the birds and squirrels at the feeder, and owners were easy to work with and responsive.

Traveling for confrence at Gaylord convention center

Loved this "Hobbit House" so peaceful and quiet yet less than a mile from the convention center. Having rhe back deck was absolutely wonderful after a long confrence day. Drive to the confrence venu was easy but I alos could have walked the short distance. Host were extremely attentive and thoughtful as well. Cabin had everything I needed and felt almost magical. Highly recommend!

Business trip friend stay

A friend and I decided to book Richard and Sherry’s place while attending a conference at the nearby Opryland convention center. So pleased with our choice! Just a few minutes from the conference but felt like our own little retreat. Hosts were so kind and accommodating, and loved relaxing in the home with a real “cabin” feel after a day of meetings. Beautiful view of the river and loved the bird watching. Perfect spot, would absolutely stay again!

Perfect little cottage!

We LOVED staying at this quaint, quirky little cottage! It felt like we were being welcomed at a family member's rustic cabin. The location was peaceful, yet close to everything we wanted to do in Nashville. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything to make this spot feel like home... only better because you are on vacation! Highly recommend!

Quiet Oasis

Really comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect place to relax after seeing all the live music shows we came to town for. The house waa set up with everything you needed. We loved sitting out on the deck watching the river and the birds at the bird feeder. Perfect for 2 couples

Great time in Nashville

The property is an attractive, eclectic, and well stocked cabin in a beautiful location - right on the Cumberland River, about half a mile from Grand Ole Opry. Friendly hosts - hassle free booking, check in, and check out. Private with beautiful deck overlooking the River. Comfortable bedrooms, beautiful picture window in living room also overlooking the River. Would definitely stay here again.

Nashville River Cottage

Relaxing location close to the opry and a quick drive to downtown. House is unique and a good value for being on the river. The large picture window in the living room is as good as being out on the deck. House had plenty of room for the 2 of us and all the necessities were well taken care of.

Cozy Cottage

We stayed 5 days & 4 nights with 4 adults in this charming home on the river. Very clean with comfortable beds & antique furniture. The view out back from the living room was amazing. The owners feed the birds so you are able to enjoy many birds on the feeder and in the trees. Fully equipped with all you need. Owners are close & communicate well. Highly recommend to those who enjoy a rustic feel. We loved it!

Hobbit House perfection

We had a good idea of how this place would feel based on the online images and descriptions, and it was exactly as advertised. The hosts were very transparent and accessible, and gave us great tips on getting around. The four of us (2 couples) wanted a place with a camp/cottage vibe, somewhere we could feel comfortable coming "home" to each night after sampling the Nashville scene, and this was just perfect. Plenty of room and privacy for two couples, while allowing for warm gathering places to make our plans, play cards, and enjoy each others' company. We would not hesitate to stay at the Hobbit House again!

Quaint home on quiet street

We stayed 3 nights between Christmas and New Year. We had our three grown children with us. There was plenty of room. The house is well stocked with towels, sheets, and especially the kitchen. There was coffee, creamer, condiments in the fridge etc. I enjoyed watching the cardinals at the bird feeder each day. The best part may have been the master bed. It was so comfortable. It is not that close to Broadway but it was easy to get an uber for the 15 min or so ride. It is close to the Grand Old Opry and the mall. Overall a great stay and would stay there again. The host were very gracious and easily available.

Peaceful Hideaway

My daughter and I stayed at the Hobbit House for four days in mid-October and enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts, Sherry and Richard, were very gracious and available if we had any questions. The cottage was in pristine condition. The kitchen was supplied with all the basics one would need as well as fresh linens, reading material and brochures for the local attractions. The cottage itself is in a beautiful setting with a welcoming deck overlooking the Cumberland River where we sat with our morning coffee while listening to the birds sing their songs. And again in the evening after a long day in Nashville. The cottage is located one mile from the Grand Ole Opry and all the attractions and venues that surround it. Grocery stores were close by if one needed to stock the refrigerator. Every day we set off to Nashville to explore all the sights and craziness it had to offer all the while knowing we were heading back to our peaceful hideaway to kick back and relax for the evening. It was the best of both worlds! We would highly recommend the Hobbit House. We hope to return again soon to explore more of beautiful Tennessee. Christa and Christa Ann from the Jersey Shore!
