Wonderful beach house

Our stay at Kure Kalm was wonderful. The house was so clean, spacious and had all of the amenities needed. It is located close to restaurants, activities and the pier yet still so quiet and peaceful in and around the house. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and beautiful ocean front views. We look forward to staying here again.

Absolutely loved it

We’ve stayed in many locations through the years and this is the first one that really felt like a home. You can tell they take pride in the maintenance and furnishings. Location was great and first floor access was beneficial to unload jeep quickly. Hands down we intend to stay here again!

Kure Calm was the perfect place for our family to get together and enjoy a relaxing time at the beach! The house includes everything you could possibly need, and the location is perfect! Susan was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

Great convenient space

Loved the location of this home and amazing view! And the fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook at the house our entire stay. Very clean! The outside hose for washing off is so helpful for sandy beach days.

Great beach front!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kure Beach this year. The walk to the beach was pretty short, which we liked. Some beach fronts can have long walks, but this one is pretty short. Especially enjoy the deck in the evenings and at night. My only 2 concerns were trying to back out into the road with the big bush in the way created some difficulties getting out. The other thing was there was absolutely no cabinet space to put groceries so we had to keep our groceries out on the counter, which was a little hard for me. But other than that, it’s a great place and I definitely would stay again.

Great Family Trip!

Everything was exactly as advertised in the listing. The house was extremely clean and in a great location. The beach was not busy which was a big bonus. We walked to dinner two of the nights at some restaurants right down the road with great seafood. Susan was a great host and very responsive to any questions. The house has plenty of beach chairs and beach toys - great for families with small children. I would recommend this to anybody looking to stay in Kure Beach

Closet place to heaven!

This was the most awesome place to stay. I have been coming to Kure Beach for 40 years. My dad brought my hubby and me and 2 grandkids., and soon then on to great grandkids.. When he passed away I carried on the tradition with my children who were now grown and my grandchildren. We had the best time and this is by far the best place to stay;. Thank you!!

kure kalm is well named and it exceeded my expectations susan and randy were so helpful and easy to work with i absolutely love the view of the ocean from the great room - so peaceful and a wonderful room where my family could gather. in addition the outside top deck(with table and chairs)and bottom deck with glider and outside shower were great. wonderful to be ocean front and have our own private walk to the ocean good location too - could walk to pier and restaurants and fort fisher and aquarium are very close i would highly recommend Kure kalmit had everything we needed!

Private Beach Access

This property is exactly as described. And better yet, it's easily one of the cleanest properties we've ever rented. We stayed over a long weekend with two toddlers and two in-laws. The house is spacious, stocked with everything you need, and the views from all the floor-to-ceiling windows are amazing. The outdoor staircase to the lower level wasn't an issue, the outdoor shower got used every day, and the parking was such a plus. We would definitely stay here again.A few tips for folks staying with littles:Move all the ceramic/glass breakables up to the bar for your stay (there are lots, you're welcome).Keep the toilet in the hallway bathroom closed. The lid is ceramic, heavy and not soft-close and my little guy slammed his fingers in it.Consider bringing a baby gate for the upper deck. The stairs to the lower deck/walkway are open.

It was a nice place, but to much rules for the gust to follow and take care before the check out at 11:00 am after we already paid the service fee, we end up checked out at 9:30 am instead. we have rented many ocean front houses before and this one different.

Great Stay

This property was perfect! The location was absolutely perfect and the beach right out front was fantastic and not very busy. Everything was just as it was in the listing. Such a nice, cozy little house. The bathrooms were very nice and updated! We definitely plan to visit and stay here again!

I, Randy, have vacationed at Kure Beach since I was a child. We first stayed in small cottages nearby and our family purchased this cottage in 1988.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Nothing compares to beachfront in this small family-friendly town. The large open living area and beachfront windows in this house allow us to enjoy the ocean view whether it's sunrise, bright sunny days, lightning over the water, or moon rising in the evening. Our family enjoys fishing in the surf, on the rocks in Fort Fisher or from a kayak in the nearby waterways. The beach is a popular nesting ground for loggerhead turtles and we love the fun and anticipation of turtle hatching. This is indeed a place of fun and relaxation for us and we hope it will be for you!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We experience the majesty of God in powerful ways in this place as we see the vastness and power of the ocean and changing tides/shorelines, the innumerable grains of sand, and the miracle of sea turtles making their way to shore to lay eggs and hatchlings later finding their way back out to sea. We pray that our guests, too, will experience God's presence in memorable ways during their stays.
