På första våningen i en historisk byggnad är född Casa Dante, där drömmen om en exklusiv semester med en fantastisk utsikt blir verklighet. Lägenheten har ett stort vardagsrum där du kan komma åt både köket och terrassen: dyrbara möbler, original persiska mattor gör denna struktur en charmig och tidlös plats. Från den underbara terrassen når du den lilla och välskötta vinterträdgården: en förtrollad plats som gör din vistelse exklusiv.
Byggnaden där Casa Dante är belägen, som tar sitt namn från kullen ("kusten" i Florentinska traditionen), som kallas San Giorgio, ligger bara Oltrarno, 30 meter från Ponte Vecchio och bara 10 minuters promenad från Santa Maria Station Novella. Strukturens historia går förlorad i tid, och behåller bara några obestridliga spår av dess förflutna: bland dessa är det 18-talets marmorinteckning, där användningen av byggnaden som en oratorisk av Santa Maria Maddalena under de tidigare århundradena är vittnad.
Strukturen har också varit huvudrollen i kända filmer av internationell biograf.
Costa San Giorgio-distriktet ligger bara Oltrarno, omgivet av några av de mest spektakulära platserna i hela staden. Ponte Vecchio - stadens symboliska bro, var den enda som skedde i slutet av andra världskriget. This was a great stop on our 10 day stay in Italy. We stayed 2 nights. This was our only VRBO stay. Right next to the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful views and looks just like the listing. It’s quiet. Serena is easy to work with on details. Things to keep in mind if you have a car you will need to pay 65 euro / night. There is a garage just below the street on which you stay. Getting to the apartment is multiple steep steps, a steep hill and then up a flight of stairs. There was a lift but we didn’t use it. We would stay again.

The apartment was cozy and in a perfect spot! Close to so many points of interest but in a quieter area. The gazebo/sunroom area was a perfect place to relax!

Great location. Nice outside sitting area. Would have been helpful to have condiments on hand, also suggestions for local restaurants. There’s a good grocery very nearby and also the Ponte Vecchio and nice shopping.

This apartment could not have been better for myself, husband, son and DIL.... along with 2 teen medics and nephew. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable sleeping. We world highly suggest you try this apartment.

Great apartment near city center

We really enjoyed the stay. Property is beautiful and clean with a seperate sunroom on the veranda which is georgeous when the Tuscan sun rises in the morning. We stayed 2 days and everything was within 15 min walking distance. Ponte Vecchio was 5 min walk. Up a steep hill or several steps and a tiny elevator are the only drawbacks. Great stay!

Serena was a wonderful host! You can't beat the price given the location, as we were able to walk everywhere in Florence from there. It is a lovely home- it really is a home that accommodates visitors, not a residence redesigned specifically for Vrbo or Airbnb. Probably want to limit to 4 visitors- we had a group of 6, so 2 of us shared the sofa bed, which was as comfortable as you'd expect a sofa bed to be. And it was a fairly cozy space- plenty of room in the bedrooms, but the common areas were a little tight for 6 (would be plenty spacious for 4). But it didn't matter because the place was so close to everything, we didn't spend a lot of time hanging out there. Serena made sure to provide detailed instructions and all the necessities, plus a welcome care package! And whatever else we needed, there was a grocery store that was a 5-minute walk away. Truly enjoyed this experience.

Perfect location, easy access to grocery market, shopping, coffee/pastry shops as well as restaurants! The elevator was a God send as was a requirement for one of our party of five. We throughly enjoyed the outside breakfast nook/enclosed patio! We took advantage of that daily. Easy walk to the train station, took less than 20 mins. The Ponte Vecchio being basically in your backyard in incredible!! Thank you for sharing your home with us for an incedible vacay. We will be back.

Florence stay

Very nice property right near the Ponte Vecchio. The building had an elevator which was nice to be able to send our luggage up. The rooms were spacious and clean, nice linens were provided. The enclosed terrace room was nice to sit in for morning coffee or a wind down glass of wine. There was a broken window in the terrace room, but it did not affect the use. My only complaint was that the listing says washer and dryer and it was a community based laundry area in the basement that the entire apartment complex had access to. It was hard to find a moment when they weren't in use already. Also, if you have any mobility issues, keep in mind that there are a lot of hills and stairs in the surrounding streets of the apartment.

Amazing Location

The highlight of this apartment is its location. You can walk to everything from it, but it is on a quiet street and you feel like you get a true feel of Florence! We have been to Florence multiple times, and this was by far the best location we have stayed. The inside is spacious and the terrace is great. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Great location but listing was incorrect

The location was great! The listing said 3 bedrooms, it was o ly 2 with a pullOut bed in the living room! Also said washer and dryer, had washer on patio but no dryer! The main bedroom cover had a amell and maintenance brought us a new one which alleviated that isse but wasnt as clean as expected

Location is everything!

The location of this unit was excellent. Could not ask for a better location. Cleanliness was great. It was listed as a 3-bedroom, however the living room was considered as the third bedroom. Steps, parking, etc were to be expected in Firenze. Would stay again happily in the future when we only need 2 rooms.

The place is great and perfectly located. My complaint is that there are no 3 bedrooms but a bed in the living room, which is not a big deal. Be mindful you need to pay the host city taxes

Not what you think

Listing said 3 bedrooms, there are only 2 with a pullout sofa in the living room, could only shower in 1 bathroom (tiny) unless you want to squat and shower in the open tub. Listed AC, but it was broken. Listed a washer and dryer, which there was only a tiny washer that you could put maybe 10 things in at a time. Check in was frustrating. We didn’t know you had to look on the doors or how to. Only 1 working fan. Honestly, so disappointing. The only good thing was the location. Florence is beautiful. But this place was not great.the step in the first bathroom was a hazard So be careful..
