På andra våningen i en vacker historisk byggnad ligger Casa Leopardi på två nivåer (vardagsrum / sovrum) och erbjuder en vacker terrass med fantastisk utsikt över hustaken i Florens.
Byggnaden där den ligger, som tar sitt namn från den kuperade vägen ("Florens-traditionens kust") tillägnad San Giorgio, ligger bara Oltrarno, 30 meter från Ponte Vecchio och bara 10 minuters promenad från stationen Santa Maria Novella.
Strukturens historia går förlorad över tiden, och behåller bara några obestridliga spår av dess förflutna. Bland dessa är marmorinsättningen av artonhundratalet där det är testat användningen av byggnaden som en oratorisk av Santa Maria Maddalena under tidigare århundraden.

Lovely Stay in this VRBO Right Next to Ponte Vechio!

This was a lovely property to stay so close to the city. Getting to the place was a little difficult just based on our navigation ability, but the apartment was spacious, had the best view, and was properly accommodated for us. Our one issue was that a mosquito net hung up with not reach well to cover us so we did get some bites, but it was worth it for how amazing our stay was. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Florence (perhaps not a person with accessibility issues, but that would be better assessed by someone else).

A Perfect Stay

This apartment is beautiful! It’s in a perfect location - central to everything but on a quiet street, with an amazing view of Florence from every single window. The balcony is just amazing. The instructions were clear, and check in/out were very easy. We stayed at a few different places around Italy during this trip, and this was the best one by far. Would highly recommend!

Great stay in Florence

Apartment in the heart of Florence with easy access to museums and 25 min walk from train. Lovely balcony for morning cafe and view of city. We started here 3 days and were very comfortable. Did laundry 1x and appreciated the kitchen for breakfast although that was the only meal we made. Recommend for small families. We slept in master bedroom and had one kids on twin bed and the other on pull out couch in sitting area.

Wonderful Location and setting

We loved the apartment and we were conveniently located to the Ponte Vecchio as well as less than a mile from the train. The only miscommunication was that it is a 2 bedroom, not a 3 bedroom, but there is a hide-a-bed in the living room. Thank you!

Location! Location!

The apartment is on the third floor but there is an elevator. The location, just around the corner from the Ponte Vecchio was perfect for enjoying Florence. The patio was small but great for two people with a fantastic view.The kitchen is small, as shown in the photos but very functional. The bathroom space is cramped and between the two bedrooms but it worked fine for us. We had a wonderful stay and definitely would recommend it.The second bedroom was small

Charming in great location

The apartment was cute & spacious and the location was great. Elevator helps with luggage. Be aware the "dryer" is a rack not electric, wish the beds had been more comfortable

Beautiful Firenze Home

We loved our stay here! We enjoyed staying in a lovely Italien neighborhood rather than a busy hotel. The flat is beautiful and clean. The bed is comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony in the evening. There’s even a small lift so you don’t have to drag luggage up the stairs. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Florence Stay

We had an amazing time in Florence. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well in the master bedroom & living room. We had everything we needed. We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back!

Spacious, good location.

We loved staying in this apartment, it was spacious and easy walk to everything in Florence. The dryer was in the basement and this should be noted in listing. It was not easy to use because it was shared w/ the whole building. Serena replied back to messages quickly but was not good at following up. She would say yes to everything and not always deliver.

Great location by Arno River.

Great accommodations with grocery store 5 minutes from the place. Beautiful spacious VRBO. Balcony view. Awesome location near Arno River and across from Ufizi. Host could provide better communication but overall, I would stay there again. Area is safe.

Great location, comfortable, spacious, view, parking

This was a perfect location for Florence. It's removed from the crowds, quiet, but immediately accessible to everything and 2 parking garages immediately nearby. The larger bed is very comfortable but the smaller 1-person bed (a cot really) has bars and was not suitable for our 6' son. Conad immediately nearby, restaurants, all very convenient. Balcony tiny but very nice, lovely view. Note: we paid much more here in Florence for tourist tax than elsewhere, also be very careful dealing w/Serena the host.

Great for price

It was super easy to check in and when we walked in it was perfect for our group of 4. The bathroom is shared by the two rooms upstairs and the couch downstairs turns into a bed. The balcony is cute and the shower works very well. The area is perfect, quiet but by some nice restaurants. In the morning you can take a nice run by the river. Overall great place to stay for our short stop over in Florence.

The apartment is very spacious and the location is great. One thing to note is that to get to the building, there is a steep hill. So just note for the walk with the suitcases. That said, the location is great. Being on the other side of Ponte Vechio also gives you access to two garages (reserve in advance) which is convenient if you’re coming by car.

Perfect locale and terrace

Location was perfect. Tucked away enough but also among the energy of the city. Conad (aka grocery store) is 2 minutes away and the views are just stunning. Only complaint is the mosquitos. I used to live in Florence and I know they are hard to avoid, but be prepared because most houses here do not have screens and windows should be sealed tightly at dusk. Host had bug spray and air repellent at the house which was thoughtful. Easy check in process and very clean place. The bed was the most comfortable bed and duvet ever. I actually took a picture of the mattress so I can remember!! Thank you so much.

We stayed for 8 days

We loved our stay in this flat. The location is absolutely perfect. There were only two of us so we had a lot of room with having the small second bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was small but it had everything we needed as we did cook a few meals. The balcony is small but we were able to fit comfortably and enjoy the weather. I would recommend this property and would choose this again if we go back to Florence. There are stairs leading up to the flat which were no problem for us but could be for some. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
