The property is well maintained. Very clean and nicely decorated. We had perfect views from every bedroom and the living room. The pool is spacious and the beach is easily accessible. We will definitely want to stay at this location again.

Miramar Vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay at Westwinds! The condo was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the bed linens were soft (no scratchy sheets). We are hoping to make this an annual family vacation spot!

Great location and fits several people

We enjoyed the location, the pool, the building. The furniture was a little dirty and we had issues with the toilets and a little musky when we first arrived but My Vacation Haven took care of it immediately. They were quick to respond and very friendly. We have stayed in the building before and we really enjoy it.

Great view, plenty of room, kitchen was well equipped. Great value.

Property was very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable but bedding could have been better, but not bad by any means. Lint trap in clothes dryer needs to be fixed. Obviously, if that’s all there is to complain about, the property must be pretty spectacular.

We loved the property, this is our second visit to Sandestin.

We had a great experience, had a few issues. One issue, the comforter was dirty as well as the sheets. I called the desk and it was replaced promptly. The second issue was the shower clogged with hair and wouldn't drain, maintenance was quick to respond.

Excellent Property!

This condo has an excellent location. The views of the gulf from the balcony and all three bedrooms was breathtaking. One of my favorite features of this condo was the large windows in all three bedrooms. No one was left out from having spectacular views of Sandestin and the Gulf of Mexico. Also, it actually felt as if we had two master bedrooms. This worked out perfectly for our family. The property was extremely clean. Everyone we came in contact with was incredibly polite and friendly. Every amenity was conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed traveling just a short distance to Baytowne Wharf. Our children had a blast doing various activities there. We truly hope to stay in this condo in the future.

Remarkable Property

We rented this property for a family vacation over Labor Day and it did not disappoint. The communication/check-in process was perfect, the host took all the guess work out of the process. They are also very organized and send you a 3rd party app that has all your information prior to your stay. The property itself was beautiful with nice finishes and amazing views of the beach. It was stocked with the basics but you may have to run to a store for a few random things (trash bags, dish washer pods, etc). Sandestin is such a great area. We had 2 kids and 2 teenagers and there was something for everyone! The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool were great when we were tired of the beach. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering it.

Lovely SanDestin family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just spend 4n at the Westwinds 4809 condo which was perfect for our extended family of 6 including a 2y/o. The unit was nicely appointed and overall clean, well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen was adequately supplied though lacked basics like salt and pepper, coffee filters and maybe some basics like a can opener and tinfoil. The ice maker had trouble keeping up but there was a nice ice machine on the ground floor. Also, we thought the king matress in the main bedroom could have been upgraded. The views from the balcony were gorgeous and we really enjoyed the pool area and beach which were very easy to access. Having the Tiki Bar poolside for drinks and snacks was also a real plus. The exercise room was clean and adequate for this type of building. The beach was busy but didn’t feel over crowded compared to the area around the Hilton Hotel. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay at Westwinds and worked out very well for our family and seemed like a decent value especially if you want to be ocean front w a nice relaxing view. We also found the Myvacation rental staff very easy to work with and the were nice enough to check in with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok which was reassuring.

The floors were still a little sandy when we arrived especially on the balcony. Our biggest issue was the lack of directions on where to set up our pop up tent on the beach. We set up the first day and apparently were on private property but there were no signs posted. Then the second day, we decided to set up behind the blue beach chairs and then were made to move to another spot. Then halfway through the day, a manager came out and made us move again saying we were in the beach club area and were not allowed to be there. Needless to say we were not happy, so we took everything down and left for the day. The other issue I personally had with this condo was the constant code numbers to get in and out of the room, the parking garage, the entrance to the building, and the beach. It was a little much to remember the numbers and type them every time you needed access. A card would have been much easier to deal with scanning.
