Plats:
KI Star Beach House ligger på närmaste hörn och tillgång till Island Beach ner en liten sandig väg. Du kan antingen gå eller köra till stranden. Ligger på ett hörn som vetter mot havet och DeCoudie Dr med Penguin St. på väst och Borda Road bakgränsen där ingången till parkeringen är. Fantastiskt förhöjt läge, från vilket du kan se alla segelbåtarna lanseras precis framför stranden.

Vi ligger cirka 12 minuters bilresa från där färjan landar i den lilla kuststaden Penneshaw och 30 minuter från Kingscote flygplats. En karta och gästinformation paket tillhandahålls till alla våra gäster.

If you like natural beauty, wildlife and serenity then this is as close to perfect as you will get. From beginning to end our stay was truly memorable. Wonderful location with ALL the amenities!

Incredibly clean property in a great location. Everything one might need was onsite and in good condition. Traveling with a family of five, including adult-size children, the property provided ample space to enjoy the natural surroundings and each other without crowding. There were directions for everytthing and great wifi - a big surprise!

Beach House with a view and a half!

We decided to take a 5 night stay on Kangaroo Island staying a the KI Star Beach House, lovely place, beautiful views. Well managed and excellent communication with property manager; in addition, the information folder was excellent. There was a welcome pack waiting for use, providing samples of KI goodies, thanks for that.

Great Location

Groups of kangaroos in the yard. Parrots all around. Pelicans and dolphins dropping by. Cleanliness of certain areas of the interior could be improved.

Beautiful Beach House

We had a fantastic stay at Island Beach. The views are amazing from the deck and panoramic windows in this home. Its right on the beach (just a short walk down from the home to a long beach). I ran a 5K on the beach one morning and only saw one person the entire run. So fun! The communication from the host was fantastic. Any question I had was answered quickly and completely. We had a great stay and would stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Very comfortable and well maintained. Great view and location.

As the title really. Quite a good spot to see the island from although a lot of driving each day. The house was everything we expected. We cooked there each evening and the kitchen was really well equipped. Really sorry I apologise for mistakenly leading a red decor plastic container with us.

Absolutely wonderful house and location

We loved our stay at this property and have already recommended to friends. Great location with beach views (as per the listing). The deck area is great and kayaks were a bonus that was appreciated and used. Only regret was not staying longer than 4 nights on KI as there is a lot to do and there are fairly long distances between attractions.

Simply perfect

Wow wow wow, we have been to KI previously but had not stumbled across this gem of a beach before, perfect spot for a relaxing family break and base for visiting all the other gems of KI. The home is beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and the perfect layout for our family of 5. Hope to come back some day.

A serene stay

Our stay at Angie's property on Island Beach was fantastic. From the onset, communication was seamless. Angie was responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing all the information needed to make our stay comfortable. The cleanliness of the property deserves special mention. The facilities provided were top-notch, catering to all our needs and beyond. From a well-equipped kitchen to beach items, games and comfy couches, everything was in place for a relaxing and fun stay. The location was incredible. The property boasts a view that is simply breathtaking. The photos we had seen did not do justice to the panoramic vistas of the serene beachfront we woke up to every morning. It was a delight to sip our morning coffee while soaking in the picturesque scenery and watch kangaroos play in the nearby bushes . We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to indulge in the natural beauty and tranquility of Island Beach while enjoying the comforts of a well-appointed home.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay however we all agreed it was time for update of leather lounges …. There needs to be a soap shelf/ dispenser in shower alcove and a toilet roll holder… A concern I had was the top of sheet was not able to be folded over the doona….unless we remade bed and did this. Health concern as we were asked to only remove sheets pillowcases…doona cover to be left…. Over all it was good….

A lovely stay - unique experience…

Gorgeous, stunning scenery! An ideal get-a-way for a family with children. Plenty to see and do on the island for the kids, and plenty of R&R for the adults. Expect relaxation and ‘peace of mind’ at the end of the stay. The house was very clean, spacious, and had a ‘homely’ feel. It had everything we needed. We hope to return in the near future!

Would love to share this special place with people who appreciate pristine, amazing places in a natural environment and homes with warmth, art, comforts, lovely surprising extras and panoramic views. Have set up the home so you feel totally relaxed. The moment you stand on the deck and experience the outlook across the bay and listen to the ocean you will also fall in love with this location. This beach house is located on a dune, CLOSEST position to the only direct sandy access road/path to the beach.
I take care of our guests as individuals and provide lots of information before you embark on your journey over to the island. Our caretaker is just a phone call away should you need anything at all during your stay.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Beautiful 180 degree views across the bay through the floor to ceiling windows which wrap around the front of the house. The house is built high on a dune so the views are even better. There's only 1 direct sandy access road to Island Beach and KI Star Beach House is located right on the corner. No need to walk through scrubland, just an easy stroll down a dune, onto the sandy access road and right onto Island Beach (about 30 steps). Plus the house comes with kayaks to roll down onto the beach for your enjoyment.
Peaceful location, set amongst nature, kangaroos around you and the ocean right in front.
