Clean with some issues

The property was clean and cozy however there were several issues that need to be addressed. There are several light switches that do not operate anything. The rooms have lamps however getting to them in a dark, unknown house can be problematic. The worst problem was that the main stairwell had no light in it. There were two switches in the stairwell but neither one worked. Lastly, the cold water in the downstairs shower would not turn on.

Close to ND

Had a great stay while visiting our ND student. Plenty of room to spread out and have a few of his friends over for a dinner. Hot tub was a great perk enjoyed by all. House is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Todd was easy to work with and very communicative. Hope to stay there again!

Last minute rental

We booked this rental last minute when we had to come into town for a funeral. We have 4 young children ranging from 3 months to 7 years old, we thought being stuck in 2 hotel rooms would be a disaster and this home really saved our trip. The host was great with communication, answering every question we had with in the hour. The home was cozy and great for the kids. Wonderful trip

We had a wonderful time at the house. It had every thing we needed, some delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies greeted us and it was a convenient walk to Notre Dame!! Ticked all the boxes and great communication!!

Fun Fall Weekend Getaway

The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was very charming and cozy and had everything that we needed. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing and was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the nice fire pit area and the hot tub which was very well-maintained. Communication with the host was excellent. All questions were answered in a timely manner and were very helpful.

Great House for the Price

The house was great! Loved the upstairs layout with the two bedrooms attached through a closet. Hot tub was great! The bathrooms could’ve used a vacuum around the edges of the room/tub as there were some stray hairs but other than that, the place was super clean. The neighborhood is close to a lot of things but the surrounding houses on the street didn’t have the best curb appeal so we were a little worried when we first pulled up but didn’t have any problems during our stay! Overall, great stay for a great price!

Short walk to Notre Dame

Stayed here while attending a ND football game. It was within walking distance to the stadium. The house was clean and comfortable, the beds were really nice and kitchen was well equipped. The only suggestion would be to update the shower/bath. Had a small hiccup checking in but Todd was great. Very responsive and got it sorted out quickly and compensated us for the trouble. We would stay here again!

Clean, met needs, good communication

On the inside, the Brick House was perfect for our family visiting ND. It was clean, met all our needs, and the coffee bar was cool! The owner was eager to please and communicative. The interior is quiet and safe. I know the owner can’t do much about this, but the neighborhood is less than desirable, which I didn’t know. That didn’t stop us from walking to & from campus by day; we were just more careful by night. Thanks Brick House!

Quaint Property

Quaint little property. I loved the old house feel! Just perfect for me. The bath-shower could use some work. There was some ivy growing through the floor in the bathroom as well. but overall, the property was nice.

Comfortable stay in South Bend

I had to stay in South Bend for a week while my daughter was at a Notre Dame camp. This apartment worked very well for my needs. The pictures are accurate and the apt is plenty of room for a small family. It is close to downtown and ND campus (~1-2 miles). Having access to a w/d was very helpful. The owner was very responsive to my questions and provided lots of information up front.

2 Week Stay

There were some little things that could be improved about the property, but overall we had a good stay. The upstairs tenants are very helpful and the owner is very responsive. Nice little back patio where you could have a cup of coffee and watch rabbits play in the yard. Close to downtown and ND, so that is helpful. The neighborhood leaves something to be desired, but we walked every day and didn't run into any trouble.

Hidden Gem

The best host and on-site manager. At first glance wasn’t sure about location, but the on-site manager put us at ease. Home was clean and comfortable. Great price. Would stay again!
