Summary:
Manawa on Kawaha is situated in the sought after Kawaha Point area of Rotorua, a small peninsula on Lake Rotorua. This is a five bedroom, three bathroom executive house with a huge entertainer's kitchen and living area as well as a seperate TV lounge with Sky TV. The house has fantastic lake views from its elevated position which can be enjoyed from the numerous decks on either side of the house. There is also a lockable storage shed for bikes.

The Space:
The house is two story with all living on the ground floor opening out onto decks three sides of the house.

Spacious place with excellent views

It was an amazing property with lots of clean space. Decor is modern. Many outside decks with views of the lake.

Maison spacieuse avec vue sur le lac

Nous étions 4 couples venant de Tahiti et nous avons apprécié l'agencement et le volume de la maison 5ch et 3 salles de bain, ce qui n'est pas commun. La maison est située dans un quartier calme et tranquille. La vue est magnifique. Cependant, nous n'avons pas profité du tout de la partie extérieure de la maison à cause de la fraîcheur du moment et. nous avons raté nos soirées barbecue. Le centre-ville est situé à 10 min de voiture. Le check-in et le check out se sont faits sans le propriétaire ou l'agence INNLIST, ce qui n'était pas un problème en soi car tout était bien expliqué au préalable. A Lovely stay at Manawa on Kawaha

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Manawa on Kawaha this February. Even with the overcast weather, the views were great. Our contact at InnList was very responsive to all of our inquiries. We were surprised to find out that air conditioning is only available on the lower level. Fortunately, this wasn't an issue since the temperature drops significantly in the evenings, so we were always comfortable upstairs. The kitchen has most supplies you will need. It would be helpful if they provided everyday kitchen supplies like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and such, but otherwise it was well stocked. The only other thing worth noting is that there were signs everywhere that recommend not opening windows, and if you do, to be sure that the screens are in place because they suffer from trout flies. These flies are pretty small, a lot like gnats. Additionally, they suggest drawing the curtains when you have the lights on in the evening to prevent attracting them. We had no issues with them at all. This is a lovely home, with beautiful views in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Overall was a nice stay. The property needs a few maintenance repairs and better cleaning, especially the windows and outdoor area

My sisters 60th

I booked this beautiful house for my sister as a treat for her 60th birthday with her husband and her grown up kids and my hubby and I. Unfortunately my hubby got COVID for the first time and so we were unable to go. But my sister and her family did and she absolutely LOVED the house, and it's location. She was impressed that all the heaters in the house had been turned on and just how lovely the house was. She felt very special and spoiled. THANK YOU SO MUCH
