Country charm meets coastal luxe at this picturesque cottage, nestled in a quiet enclave within strolling distance to Rye Village & Foreshore. Relax and unwind in a beautifully styled setting with a stunning open plan living space centred around a modern farmhouse style kitchen, and French doors opening to the rear alfresco deck and backyard. Complete with a second living area, wood fireplace, plush bedding and all the mod-cons, it is everything you’d expect of a superior Peninsula stay.

Cozy and beautiful

We stayed at this property for a short weekend away. The house is located in a quiet area and was only a short drive (4min) to the beach, woolies, restaurants and a playground. We loved how cozy and beautiful it was. It felt like a home away from home with its kitchen as a central focus to the home. Which we loved and spent a lot of time around. There was a fireplace, where all the tools and wood necessary to make a fire was provided, however we chose not to use it, due to having a curious toddler wondering around. The central heating was enough to keep the house warm in the middle of winter for us. It's the little things that count, especially when it comes to travelling with young children. We found the provision of a highchair and step ladder a blessing, as it meant our toddler had a spot to eat and the younger kids could use the step ladder to use the bathroom sink. My personal favourite was the water jug in the fridge, which meant we could fill it up with water and have cold water to drink and fill our water bottles for outings. There was a study/play space with a ps4, tv (though we did not use them) and bean bags. Great for parents who want some peace and quiet, and a great space for the kids to hang out. Overall, an enjoyable stay, even though we didn't have the best weather during our stay.
