Find beach rentals near Sidonia Beach

The place has an excellent view of the sea and space to sit and relax outside. A couple of small towns nearby which were nice. If this is your kind of place, this is perfect. The owners were very nice and helpful. We ended up with a cold from our prior location. The owners help us to find help and cheeked on us every day. They provided fresh towels and lemons for us everyday.

The home is beautiful, full of artwork and cozy furniture. The beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. There are many out door areas to relax in and enjoy the views of the Libyan Sea. The beach is rocky, but as soon as you step into the sea you are on sand. Floating on gentle waves was wonderful. The yard has a grassy area and an orchard. We picked fresh figs (I couldn't get enough of them,) cactus fruit, and dates. The citrus friut and pomegranates weren't ripe yet. Within walking distance there are 5-6 tavernas, a market and cafe with coffee, pastries and ice-cream. This home is remote. We decided we would like to stay again, but for 2 weeks and just enjoy the area. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time. Our homeowner came by and helped with some logistics of the home. He left olive oil for us. We enjoyed it poured over tomatoes, cucumbers and fresh feta from the market. He and all of the members of the community were so welcoming and lovely to talk with. I highly recommend this property if you want to relax with the sun rise and sunset. Perfection 😃

Well-kept and clean, the Panorama Apartments are the perfect place for a getaway from it all!! Communication was clear and helpful, and the notebook left in the room contained all the information anyone could possibly need for a wonderful trip in Kastri. I stayed in room 5 with a private balcony overlooking the sea which was perfection!! I have absolutely zero complaints about the week I spent in this apartment!

The property was lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside and looking over the coast. Ioanna and Koula were great to deal with. The village was fun to explore…. Especially with all the super friendly cats

We rented a small studio there for two weeks in September / October. Melina was a great host. Kastri is a wonderful location to spend a soothing and relaxing vacation. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks there, going to the beach there every day, having lunch in one of the amazingly welcoming taverns along the water line and of course eating diner on our small balcony watching the sunset. Kastri is a nice starting point to visit the south central part of Crete. The studio had all necessary features you need. Only 2 negative points. First: the mosquitoes: I personally would have enjoyed some mosquito nets in the window frames. Second is the quite hard mattress and the 190cm bed frame with bedpost, which is somewhat inconvenient for big people like me. Thus only 4 stars out of 5. Summary: very good value for money
