We have enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Retreat immensely. It is a fantastic destination to relax and serves as a perfect basecamp for adventures in the beautiful surroundings. The house is very spacious, very clean, and beautifully furnished. It comes with all the conveniences you can think of: a well-equipped kitchen, a gorgeous screened patio, a beautiful pool, an outdoor kitchen and shower, and many more perks. The backyard is breathtaking, with amazing plants and many lovely details. The property is connected to a deck on the canal/lake, where we enjoyed many evenings watching birds and turtles, and savoring the sunsets. Christian, the owner, was super friendly and responsive. He was truly determined to ensure that we had an amazing experience. We're looking forward to our next stay at the Lakeside Retreat!

What a beautiful house in a fabulous location! The decor is beautiful inside and the house was spotless when we arrived. It was our first long haul holiday with our 5 month old baby and the house was perfect for us. 4 adults and a baby and we still had lots of room! Tanja and Mike were brilliant hosts, nothing was too much trouble, even when we had locked ourselves out! The beautiful beach across the road is great for a sunset too. The cleaning team were great too, even emptying the tumble dryer for us one day that was full of baby clothes! If your looking for a relaxing stress free holiday this is where you need to be! We will be back!
