We had an awesome vacation. The lodge was beautiful. Super clean, spacious yet cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of indoor and outdoor spaces. My family gathered around the 🔥 fire pit every night. I loved the master bedroom sun porch! Communication with the host was excellent !

Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. The drive took close to an hour from the Hilltop Hideaway. Although we didn't realize it would be that long of a drive, the scenery was exquisite. We heard the area described as "Endless mountains". Beautiful!!! We're happy to have had the opportunity to visit this quaint town tucked in the middle of the mountains.

This is in a beautiful part of Pa. Nestled right beside the water. Very nice cabin all redone inside with all the entities of home and very clean. My wife and I needed an escape and this was just what the doctor ordered. Thank you !!

Spent the weekend here for a family function. The apartment was well appointed with what we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We would stay again on the next trip to Emporium.

This remote vacation spot is one of our favorites! This home accommodates our family of 10 just perfectly and has all the things we needed for our stay! The kitchen is equipped with everything a kitchen should have, the towels and bedding were great, plenty of seating inside and outside, the fire pit is the perfect size, they even have mountain pie makers and marshmallow sticks!! There were kayaks and life vests on site , but we had our own. The creek outback was perfect for fishing, playing with the grand-baby, and just sitting in with chairs and floats! I would suggest taking some bikes for the kids to enjoy riding on the very lightly traveled road! During our stay, we enjoyed lots of fishing, kayaking, visiting local swimming holes, eating at the Sinnamahoning Sportsman Club, singing around the fire, playing card games and cornhole, visiting with family and friends who live in the area, and just simply relaxing. We ran into an “inconvenient” plumbing malfunction, but the owners were extremely responsive, accommodating, and diligent in correcting the issue. We appreciate them for that! It was “almost” a perfect trip! 😊
