The home is absolutely perfect. Large, clean and well located to the town. Our host was very helpful and friendly. Maybe my best VRBO experience ever.

Everything was lovely! We always had clear instructions and communication. The house was clean, well stocked, and well maintained. The grounds were fun to explore. The area is remote, but within a short drive to everything you’ll need/want. Overall, a great spot! Highly recommend!

What an absolutely stunning property. Our room looked out on the ruins of Duffus Castle with golden fields of rapeseed filling out the rest of the composition. The house had everything we needed and felt like a real home (a difficult thing to do!)

The Castle Byre is a10 stars out of 5!!! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay or get better hospitality. Colin and Penny provide an amazing experience with their thoughtfulness, hospitality and attentiveness. I cannot say 1 poor thing about our experience in Dufftown or The Castle Byre. The accommodations are exactly as they are on the website. This is one booking you will never regret!

Lilyfield was amazing. Everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Views from the cottage are breath taking. Enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air hearing the sheep in the fields. Claire was a most gracious host and assured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying if you are in the area.

We had another great stay at Doug’s property in Seatown Cullen. Very spacious accommodation with all the amenities you could very close to the beaches. Comfortable beds and nice kitchen.

Plenty of space for a family, and host was very accommodating and responsive. Area is quiet and relaxing, with a short walk to the beach.
