Peaceful, relaxed and comfortable location

We were three couples. The house was very comfortable, with three full bathrooms and ample space. The garden is gorgeous, the pool is very pleasant and BBQ is perfect for a cote de boeuf or magret de canard. We also liked the fact that most of the Dordogne destinations were very easily accessible for day trips.

A Wonderful Experience

Although other reviews indicated that this is a very special place, our experience exceeded our high expectations. The house is comfortable, and the location couldn't be better if you're looking for beautiful, peaceful countryside. You can walk for miles in any direction down tiny lanes emanating from the house, and the only sound you hear is birdsongs and the occasional cow bell. The hosts are welcoming and charming. We'll be back!

a gite in the country

Very nice place, lots of room and all the fittings were simply great. At that time of year the houseflies were very annoying and the one sticky strip we mounted caught over 100 flies. Not a deal breaker of a problem but worth mentioning. If you want quiet in the country away from everything, you can't do better. Overall very good. The owner and his wife were very helpful with some small issues not related to the gite.
