  • Great setting, location, beach and condo!

"We love El Zalate and this condo was extremely nice. This is our 3rd stay at the property but 1st in this unit. Top quality bedding, utensils, decor, furnishings, and patio. Carrie's "tip sheet" is very helpful and she is extremely responsive. The entire El Zalate experience is awesome, from the very entertaining security guard Cerrillo to the friendly and meticulous grounds crew. We love it and we will continue to visit when we are in San Jose! Thanks for the chance to stay here! Big Papa, Madison, WI"

  • Villa Allegre

"Patricia is a world class host and her warmth and graciousness was felt from the time I reserved her place until the day I left. Her casa blends right in to the desert surroundings and I was amazed at how much thought was put into this relationship in the design and layout of the house - like enjoying the sunset in the living room with wide open glass to the outside with cardinals and orioles flying about the surreal desert landscape -simply put- quiet sublime peaceful tranquility... I had several guests during my 3 week stay and the house is set up nicely with the bedrooms at either end of the main living area and separate baths. The outside guest shower was a real highlight! It was well appointed and had everything we needed. If you are looking for a rowdy Spring Break party spot, Zacatitos is probably not for you. If you want to experience true off- the -grid creative living where the desert meets one of the most beautiful coast lines in the world, look no further than Villa Alegre!"

  • Beautiful and Remote

"Our family of four (two teenage girls) really enjoyed our week in El Colibri. It was a perfect respite from the cold Colorado pre-winter season. The water was warm, and the beaches deserted. Amazing views from the home, beautifully reflected in the infinity pool. November is not a big surf month on the East Cape, but we made day trips north for snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo and windsurfing in Los Barriles, as well as dining in San Jose del Cabo (particularly loved Flora Farms). Sea kayaking on the glassy sunrise ocean was a favorite of ours. Carrie, Doug and Denise were very welcoming and available to help with any requests. A Jeep is nice if want to explore north on the coastal road. It is the perfect combination of seclusion without being too far from the amenities of town. The home is very comfortable and beautifully designed. The new master suite was not yet available, but will only add to the beauty of the experience."

  • Absolutely Perfect!

"My wife and I, along with another couple, came to 'Pelicanos' for 5 days ... 5 glorious days. The owners -- Gloria and Jose -- the perfect hosts. We had complete privacy (we're all clothing optional couples) and had the perfect time. The house is right on the beach and the supply room is full of paddle boards, surf boards, snorkeling gear, a BBQ and everything we needed to make our stay ... just perfect! From the patio, we saw 10-12 whales (up close, too!), manta rays, seals -- and lots of pelicans! We also had dinner up at Zac's Cafe twice, which was also excellent. We highly recommend 'Pelicanos' for couples and families."
