  • Freeport, ME - Charming Cabin in the Woods & on the Water

"We knew the moment we drove into the area that we had chosen the perfect place to stay in Maine. The cabin delivered the "woodsy" rustic charm we were seeking. The walk to the waterfront is a visual delight with walkways, a beautiful rock wall, and the clean, fresh smell of pine. Our mid-west roots had not prepared us for the high tide | low tide schedule and we found ourselves watching it daily to see when we could head out with the kayaks or low tide to dig for clams. The cabin was well stocked with paper items, spices, and clean towels and linens. On the one rainy day we had, we dove into the treasure trove of movies available and greatly enjoyed a movie afternoon. Easy access to Freeport and shopping. Day trips to Boothbay Harbor, Bath, Bar Harbor, and Portland are an easy drive. Loved hiking in Wolf Neck State Park. We highly recommend the waterfront cabin in the woods for a great Maine experience and hope to return next year!"

  • Splendid home by the sea!

"The expansive front deck of this wonderfully spacious home may well be the most relaxing place on earth! The location offers great privacy and marvelous ocean views. Three generations of our family (7 in number) were very comfortably accommodated on the first two floors. This property bears no resemblance to a 'rental house'. Rather...... it's a special, very well equipped property that provides the warmth and comfort of an exceptionally tasteful home. Over the years, we've rented numerous oceanfront homes, none finer than Aberdeen."

  • Beautiful house, great spot in Maine

"We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The location was an easy drive to Freeport, Brunswick and Bath, with some beautiful trails nearby. The house and view of the water are just as lovely as the pictures. We loved being able to see the water from the kitchen, living room, one upstairs bedroom and the upstairs office nook. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities available in the house (a well-stocked kitchen, boats and life jackets, a board game library, a folder with tons of information on the local area). The house layout was great for a multi-generational family (grandparents can sleep on the first floor with a private bathroom, kids have plenty of space to play upstairs or in the basement)."

  • week stay at the cottage

"we stayed at this house, one of the most peaceful, private, and beautiful places we have stayed in Maine. It is very secluded, backs into the woods, and has an open front of cottage with a wonderful deck and can watch the tides go in and way out, paddle in them when in....we went out one evening, and the water was so warm, like bath water...the rooms were comfortable, cozy, and can walk down the road to a nature preserve, climb up to the top, and see out for miles and miles and miles....close to Popham beach, and Reed state park, both highly recommended places to go...we loved our stay!!!! I would hope to return next year..."
