  • Cozy Cottage at the Ocean

"This cozy and rustic cottage is the perfect location for a young family or small group of adults looking to relax at the seashore. I am a fourth generation Maine vacationer and have vacationed in this town since I was a toddler. The cottage is just steps from the beach which means no searching for public parking or having to use public restrooms. We don't even pack a cooler anymore; when we get hungry we just walk back to the house for sandwiches and snacks. The property is well maintained by the owner and her family. The cottage has a full kitchen for anyone wishing to prepare their own meals instead of eating at restaurants. It is also now equipped with Wi-Fi! The cottage is located near some of the best fresh seafood (Ken's Place, Bayley's Lobster Pound). You can picnic along the rocky coast and walk coastline trails at Two Lights National Park. There are many lighthouses, like Portland Head Light, within a short drive. You can see a life-sized chocolate moose at Len Libby chocolatiers or tour the Desert of Maine, the world's northern most desert. You can also explore the nearby salt water marsh on foot and bicycle paths or via canoe."

  • Cute cottage and helpful owners

"We loved our stay at this cottage-it was just too short! Clean, well-supplied, cozy. Nice, peaceful location and very close to a non-crowded beach. The busy Old Orchard Beach wharf -with much commercial activity-is a short drive away, but we preferred this quiet Pine Point area. And, Karen is very helpful in all communication. One of our favorite Home Away stays!"

  • Quaint home on beautiful setting

"This little house in Pine Point Beach had lots to offer. Breathtaking views of the Nonesuch River marsh. Watching clammers dig their daily catch, and lobstermen set out in early morning and return mid-afternoon with their haul. Great sunsets. A five-minute walk to the beach. Delicious food just steps from the front door at one of the local restaurants. A peaceful and serene setting where you feel separated from the world, yet you’re only a few miles from the hubbub of Route 1 for any last-minute supplies. The house was beautiful and well equipped. We’re already considering a return trip next summer."

  • Great little gem in Pine Point

"We have rented John & Clare's apartment on numerous occasions. We always come back because it's the perfect getaway, it's well situated in the quiet little town of Pine Point which is a far cry from the more busy & crowded Old Orchard. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well equipped with a small backyard with BBQ. It's just across the street from the beach which is beautiful and much less crowded than Old Orchard. The owners John & Clare live just next doors and are the most wonderful hosts always there if you need anything and great just to talk to. They always have a great story to tell. We highly recommend this apartment. Chantal & Denis"
