  • Perfect vacation, Incredible view

"The views from this cottage are some of the best on the island. We got up early every day to watch the sun rise and the early morning Lobster boat parade across the bay. On the day of our arrival we watched a sailing race pass right in front of the cottage with over 50 boats! The cottage was great as well with a wrap around porch and a beautiful fireplace. We stayed in the early fall and so enjoyed a fire with breakfast and dinner almost every day. We have already booked for next year and can't wait to return and make more memories."

  • This sweet littte cottage was perfect

"The neighborhood of Falmouth Foreside is immaculate and just a few miles north of Portland, a short walk to the beach, and a 2 minute ride to a great market that offers steamed lobster for pickup with an hour's notice. The owner was available next door if we needed anything, which we did not because they provided everything! Laundry facilities in the basement were priceless with kids and sandy beach laundry. The cottage is small but, with a queen bed and two twins, there was enough room for everyone. Our boys enjoyed having their own attic room, which stayed nice and cool at night. I personally appreciated the crisp, fresh sheets, the sumptuous down pillows, the comfy couch, the antique chaise on the airy porch, and all the other details that made our short stay such a pleasure. Thank you, Debbie and Bob; we will see you again!"

  • Exactly what we hoped for!

"Lee's house is fantastic! The bright colors, wonderful artwork and great backyard are perfect for people who want a restorative and stunning place to retreat every evening after a day at the beach or a day enjoying all that Portland has to offer. If you enjoy cooking, Lee's gas stove and kitchen layout will make you happy, although you may want to bring your favorite pan or stock pot! And Lee truly cares about the comfort of his guests. Case in point: when he learned that we were having a family reunion, he brought us over more chairs for the event. He is a considerate and upbeat host. I would definitely recommend this vacation home!"

  • A little paradise

"We spent ten days at Birch Point at the end of May with our three kids (all below 4 years old). The property turned out even better than on the pictures, making it an ideal retreat for families with young children; it's very well equipped, incredibly clean and well thought. Most of all, the view is breathtaking. Jon Leaver was always super helpful and diligent in answering all our questions. Overall, this was an ideal stay. We definitely recommend this property for vacations outside of the world ... we came back to NYC fully rejuvenated!"
