  • The house was perfect!

"The home was perfect for our stay. Each year our group of family and friends stays together to celebrate the in coming new year. This home could not have been more perfect for our needs. It is spacious and well furnished. The layout of the house offered us a private space for the young adults where they could stay up gaming until all hours. The older adults were able to have private space as well. The two seating areas are comfortable with fabulous views. We enjoyed a walks on the beach and watching the snow fall. There is plenty of parking. The home is located far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be private, yet close enough to town to pick up the things you forgot. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the home. Thank you for making it available."

  • Best accommodations ever.

"First let me say that Pauline and Cheryl were both so welcoming, warm and a real pleasure. The property offered so much more than a modern apartment. There is a covered patio, which was very useful when we wanted to get out of the sun but stay outside. The yard also offered a fire pit and lovely gardens. All this made for a wonderful vacation that we would like to repete. Also just a note, the shower was also awesome, Plenty of hot water and water pressure, those of you who have experienced the other end will know how appreciated this is! The beach is a short walk maybe 5 min. I really can't say enough good things about this property or the owners. Hope to be back in 2017."

  • The PERFECT weekend getaway!!!!!

"We stayed here with a group of 8 mid-20's friends for a long Memorial Day beach weekend, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Karen/June were SO helpful and responsive, the house is fully equipped and so charming, it really had everything we needed for a full weekend of cooking, grilling, playing on the beach, yard games, etc. The property is absolutely breathtaking and we even made friends with the renters next door! So much out door porch space and just generally a perfect layout for a big group of family or friends. We spent the sunniest day between beach, front yard and front deck, and we just had the most perfect weekend. Short drive into Portland and right down the road from the OOB pier and all of the activities and shops there. I would recommend this house to anyone and we will absolutely be coming back next summer!!!!"

  • Cozy Cottage at the Ocean

"This cozy and rustic cottage is the perfect location for a young family or small group of adults looking to relax at the seashore. I am a fourth generation Maine vacationer and have vacationed in this town since I was a toddler. The cottage is just steps from the beach which means no searching for public parking or having to use public restrooms. We don't even pack a cooler anymore; when we get hungry we just walk back to the house for sandwiches and snacks. The property is well maintained by the owner and her family. The cottage has a full kitchen for anyone wishing to prepare their own meals instead of eating at restaurants. It is also now equipped with Wi-Fi! The cottage is located near some of the best fresh seafood (Ken's Place, Bayley's Lobster Pound). You can picnic along the rocky coast and walk coastline trails at Two Lights National Park. There are many lighthouses, like Portland Head Light, within a short drive. You can see a life-sized chocolate moose at Len Libby chocolatiers or tour the Desert of Maine, the world's northern most desert. You can also explore the nearby salt water marsh on foot and bicycle paths or via canoe."
