Vacation rentals near Allen Memorial Art Museum

My family and I decided to take a quick trip to the Lake Erie area. This house made a good central base location away from the hustle of the tourist attractions. House was clean and enough room for our family of 5.

What a perfect spot for a weekend getaway with my husband!! Christine couldn’t have been more hospitable to us, the cottage was charming, clean, and comfortable! Located on a beautiful and refreshing property with private lake/beach in the back for relaxation and unwinding! Also its location is only 10 minutes from all the shops/restaurants in downtown vermillion! We are so thankful we found this place and will definitely be back!

Two friends and I booked this house for a fishing weekend on Lake Erie leaving out of nearby Lorain. The house is in a mature and quiet neighborhood. The ranch style home has been refreshed with new flooring, finishes, furniture, and bedding. The living area is open and spacious with comfortable, clean furniture. The entire home is very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep including our steaks on the charcoal grill. Very clear details for use of the house, nearby attractions, WIFI details, labeled switches and check out procedures were posted and clear. The bath is clean and modern and the linen closet was well stocked, organized and labeled. We didn’t use the bikes, but there is a very nice paved hiking / biking trail at the end of the street. The nearby downtown has that small town vibe and the nearby college campus has a bit of an ivy league vibe to it. The listing described the property well and the owner was quick to respond to questions about parking. I would definitely recommend this stay.

The house was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It has all the amenities needed and just a quick drive to historic Vermillion, hiking and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

This was my husband and I's first experience using verbo and we couldn't be happier. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We are definitely thinking about using the same property the next time we come up to Ohio.

We found this house in good condition. It met our needs to a tee. The house was clean upon arrival and checkin was a piece of cake. We would easily stay here again if we are in the area again.
