  • Good location, nice amenities.

"The unit was a little more run down than some others in the complex, but very functional and the beach supplies (umbrella, chairs, caddy) was a nice bonus. We enjoyed the pool and reasonable walk to the beach. Could use more large pots and pans in the kitchen!"

  • Wonderful Time

"We have stayed at Colonnade Club often, but this was our first time in this villa. The updated decor was wonderful, even down to the person touches of family painted art. Plus, the view is one of the best at this Club, overlooking the pond between the 2 buildings and overlooking the 6th tee of Galleon. You can watch the golfer hit their ball in the water and then lean over the edge, wondering if they should try to fish their ball out, unaware of the lurking alligator (which you can see from the balcony). The owner was wonderful to work with; no problems at all and is very approachable. The pool and the poolside area is adequate and very clean. Having the beach locker was great. Colonnade Club is off the beating path, so it is a quiet retreat, yet it is a very short distance to all the activities of Coligny, Shelter Cove and others on HHI. If you like blues/soul/jazz and southern cuisine, check out Ruby Lee's. It is a wonderful place to have a good time and a good meal."

  • Perfect Hilton Head Island spot for families, convenient to everything!

"Thanks Jan and Ken! The villa is as described and more! The unit is wonderfully located in Shipyard Plantation, near the center of HHI and close to everything. The updated kitchen and baths are beautifully done and the living room and dining area were plenty spacious for watching TV/movies and family game night. It was great to wake up each morning, put on a pot of coffee and enjoy the back deck overlooking the golf course. The washer and dryer in the unit were also super helpful. The beach is an easy 10-15 minute walk along a paved path (do bring a flashlight or a charged phone with a light if you walk back after sunset). Parking is provided at the Shipyard Beach Club if you have too many supplies to carry, which we did one day. The beach club also has restrooms, a snack shack, and showers. When we were not at the beach, the kids enjoyed going to the pool. I played two of the local golf courses, including Shipyard which was a great value in the afternoon. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby and it's an easy drive to Sea Pines/Harbour Town (the food at the Sea Shack and the Salty Dog really are that good). If you plan a boat cruise, check out Island Explorer. We had a terrific 2 hour cruise through Broad Creek, Calibogue Shoal, and Harbour Town. Jan is very responsive and helped make our vacation easy and relaxing."

"Our second year renting this condo. Its fabulous. Great location. 10 minute walk to beach or can drive and park at beach. Great pool and hot tub. Condo is very updated, clean and extra nice. Owner is great to work with even gave us some restaurant suggestions. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hilton Head!"
