Location: Cooper Island, British Virgin Islands BVI, Caribbean (5 miles across the Sir Francis Drake Channel from Tortola)

Accommodations:  Two Beachfront Cottages, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-5)

This tiny unspoiled island is a beautiful, five mile, boat trip from Tortola. There are white-sand beaches and no roads. Only four privately-owned properties plus the Beach Club mini resort with open-air bar and restaurant are on the island. There is also a dive shop and boutique.

The Beach House and The Hideaway are nestled in the palm trees which includes three acres of land with 853 feet of private beach. Snorkeling is excellent right off the beach and at several other nearby locations. There is also a sandy beach to wade into the water.

The climate is almost perfect with balmy tropical breezes. You will see coconut palms, bougainvillea, frangipani, hibiscus, yucca, orchids, and other exotic plants on the island and a nice variety of birds.

The Beach House, which is right on the beach, was designed for only two people. It has an open plan with queen-size bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and an exotic outdoor shower. A deck wraps around two sides of the cottage. The house is nicely landscaped.

The Hideaway can sleep up to five people. It overlooks your private beach from the 40-foot long porch. The house is at a 50 elevation for great views of the water and islands. Walk down the short path to the white-sand beach where there are lounge chairs and a hammock for sunning and relaxing.
