Accommodations: Townhome, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 6-7)
We would like to welcome you to Vista La Sal, our home-away-from-home. Completed in November 2006, our get-away offers you a place to rest and relax during your adventures in Moab. Rim Vistas townhomes were named for the outstanding views of the Moab Rim. We call our end/corner unit "Vista La Sal" because almost every room in the home has SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the majestic La Sal Mountains with Moab’s stunning red rock in the foreground. You’ll love to watch as the sun paints the scenery a thousand colors from the comfort of colorful and well decorated spaces.
Our 1700 square-foot vacation home is equipped with everything to make your stay convenient and comfortable. Our townhome contains contemporary furniture and modern conveniences. Amenities include a full-kitchen and dining accommodations for eight. The living room has two oversized windows with commanding views of the La Sal Mountains, vaulted-ceilings, and a gas fireplace. The entertainment center has 42" LCD flat screen TV with basic cable service, surround-sound stereo with iPOD docking station and 5-disc CD/DVD player. The patio has comfortable seating for five and a deluxe gas grill to enjoy the phenomenal views of the setting sun on the La Sals. The master bedroom, on the main floor, has a king bed and private bath. A half bath and laundry facilities complete the main floor.
Upstairs, a loft above the dining room features a TV and VCR and is the perfect place for napping on the queen-sized futon or enjoying the gorgeous view of the Moab Rim. A full bath and two bedrooms upstairs will accommodate you in either a queen size bed in one bedroom or a full bed and single futon in the other.
The enclosed two-car GARAGE provides you with a secure place to store and work on your toys. Additional off-street parking is nearby. Our townhome is located a short drive 5 minutes south of downtown Moab just south of the Spanish Trail Equestrian Arena.
PETS are welcome (with additional rent). The pool and hot-tub are across the cul-de-sac of our home. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the home and garage. Our home is the new phase of the Rim Village Vistas development.

Map & Owner's Profile
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose MoabWe purchased the townhome in Moab because we love the climate, culture, and outdoor adventures we experience there. We were looking for a place to relax and gather with friends instead of cutting our adventures short looking for a campsite or available hotel room. Moab is a unique melting pot in Utah; we love that all walks of life converge on this small town to enjoy the eclectic mix of people and its incredible beauty.
The Unique Benefits at this TownhomeAfter a day on the trails, we love to relax on the patio, with its large gas grill, comfy furniture, and gorgeous views of the LaSal Mountains and Moab Rim. The attached 2-car garage is an added benefit so we can work on our bikes to prepare to get beat up the next day! The pool is beautiful, and we enjoy the same great views from the pool as from our patio. The loft area is really nice when we have friends with kids visit us, as the kids can play games upstairs and give the adults some space. We have an old home as our primary residence, so it is wonderful to be surrounded by new, modern amenities at our get-away home.

Drew and Lucy love to mountain bike. We live in Utah primarily because of the abundant excellent outdoor sports available so close to home. Moab is one of our favorite mountain biking destinations.

We had a wonderful stay at your condo...it just wasn't long enough! You made sure that every detail was attended to including soap for our laundry! Everything was so clean and inviting! We felt at home the minute we arrived. We have already recommended your place to a friend and hope to be able to return ourselves! From making the reservations to opening the front door on arrival everything went so smoothly and without a hitch. Thank you both for terrific accomodations!

We stayed here during the Canyonlands Half Marathon which we were all running and since hotels fill up fast, we decided to look into a condo. I'm so glad we did! With 3 couples, it was nice to have a central area we could all hang out and play cards and stuff in as opposed to trying to crowd into someone's room. The condo was extremely well stocked, we had no trouble finding anything we needed, from extra blankets to coffee filters. The condo was very clean and we enjoyed spending some time playing tennis in the nearby tennis courts. After running 13.1 miles that morning, the hot tub felt wonderful and easily fit all 6 of us with room for more. The pool looked nice too, but wasn't open yet for the year so we didn't get to try it. The views around the area (like anywhere in Moab) are fantastic. Unfortunately, the wind that weekend kept us from wanting to spend much time out grilling on the patio, but I enjoyed having the option. The owners were very easy to communicate with for my questions and we enjoyed the listing of recommended restaurants they left. This condo is just about 2-3 miles south of the Main area of Moab, so we had to drive into town for shopping, etc. but since there is easy parking right downtown, this was not a problem and we liked the quiet and peaceful area. And having a 2 car garage was so helpful! It wasn't too hot yet down there, but it was nice to have our cars parked out of the sun. We loved staying here and I would definitely recommend it to anybody; hopefully we'll stay again next time!

Thanks Lucy and Drew! This was our 3rd time at the condo and we had a great time as always. The condo is comfortable and welcoming to come home to in the evenings after a hard day of playing. Lucy and Drew gave us some great MB trail suggestions for taking my boys on, and we all had an awesome time. We will be back as soon as possible.

We just came back from a wonderful stay in Moab. We give this property 5 stars because the accommodations made us feel just as though we were at home. The unit is clean, well appointed and ideally located. It is just a few miles from downtown Moab and not far from Arches National Park. The neighborhood is quiet and the townhome's patio is very conducive to having a restful evening after an active day at the National Parks. Many thanks to the owners for answering all our questions quickly and giving as many details as we needed to make our stay comfortable. The map and map link they provided were excellent. We had a leisurely and stress-free drive from Salt Lake City to Moab. We highly recommend this property; it is home away from home. Places to see: Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, Island in the Sky. What to visit in downtown Moab: Tom Till Gallery - BEAUTIFUL photographs. Restaurants recommended: Moab Brewery, Zax.

Thank you again for the use of your wonderful property! Everything was exactly as promised and the location within Rim Vista Village is excellent for accessing the pool. The owners were very accomodating and great to work with, we will definitely use this property for our future visits. If you are visiting with children, I would recommend the Intrepid trail system at Dead Horse Point for biking.

This was our second stay with Lucy and Drew. This was a more extended stay of one month. The condo is fantastic. The location is perfect and the views are grand. The location gives you access to any outdoor activity you would want to pursue. The Jordan's have seen to every possible amenity you could wish for including a killer gas grill. The WIFI kept us in contact with Michigan via computer, at least as much as we wanted to be.Our sons visited us while we were there and commented that,"This place feels like home dad." Indeed. We highly recommend Vista La Sal.

We originally booked a week stay at a motel in Moab but, luckily for us, this condo was available for most of our nights. The owners responded --very quickly--to my inquiry and made everything happen. The condo is spacious and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is just a short drive from town. I look forward to staying there next time we visit beautiful Moab!
