"NUESTRA CASA" - "Our House" is a completely walled, PRIVATE HOME with POOL. (NOT, as many are, a condo with shared facilities!)

It is a THREE BEDROOM, THREE BATH, PRIVATE HOME with an L SHAPED POOL, situated in the PRESTIGIOUS "CORPUS CHRISTI" section of the island of Cozumel. It has recently been purchased by an American family who has completely renovated - and "AMERICANIZED" it!
It is located on the southern end of town, within four blocks of the waterfront, the new public beach and the CHEDRAUI and MEGA SUPERMARKETS. There you'll find an ATM machines, Deli, Bakerys, Pharmacys plus liquors and beer. Right next door is the new MULTI-PLEX THEATRE and MALL. It is a short 15 minute walk to the Main Plaza in town

The "L" shaped TILE POOL goes from (3')to(5')in depth with a bench along the deep part where you can enjoy a drink or read all day. It is surrounded by a BACKYARD PATIO and EATING AREA that is landscaped with tropical plants and flowers and a GAS BAR-B-QUE is provided for your grilling pleasure. There is full exterior lighting on the patio and pool area, plus the pool is equipped with an underwater light, making your nighttime dip even more pleasurable.

In 2004, a rooftop ENTERTAINING AND VIEWING AREA was added. (Climb the TOWER STAIRCASE and take your morning coffee to enjoy the oceanview and passing ships on their way to port; or sit and relax with a Margarita and watch the spectacular evening sunsets!)

A scuba diving/snorkeling equipment RINSE TANK is featured in the front courtyard, along with an EQUIPMENT DRYING AREA.

There are two bedrroms located on the second floor: The MASTER BEDROOM feaures a king-sized bed and its own PRIVATE BATH, while the adjacent GUEST BEDROOM has a queen sized bed an its own PRIVATE BATH.
The downstairs GUEST BEDROOM has a full sized bed. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TELEVISION, individually controlled AIR CONDITIONER and imported CEILING FANS. All bathrooms have LARGE TILED SHOWERS.

The DINING ROOM seats eight and there is a FULL MODERN "AMERICANIZED" KITCHEN including stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, electric juicer, cookware, untensils etc.

The LIVING ROOM has three couches (one a queen sized futon) and holds an extensive VIDEO LIBARY, VCR, STEREO CASSETTE/CD PLAYER, BOOK LIBRARY and GAMES.

HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS has been recently added(bring your own laptop!),

A CLOTHES WASHER has been added for your conveninece.

Accommodations for SIX are very comfortable but can be used by EIGHT.

Cooled BOTTLED WATER is provided and MAID SERVICE is also included.

Tasteful island decorations; Mexican rustic furniture upholstered in rich colors, original oil paintings and hand crafted wooden furniture and armoires were used to give this home its warmth and charm.

Our local PROPERTY MANAGER will meet you at the airport, and is available to assist with any questions or arrangements necessary and introduce you to the nuances of "OUR HOUSE".

  • What a wonderful vacation we had at Casa Nuestra! My husband and I, our two preschool aged daughters, and my parents met for a week in Cozumel at Casa Nuestra. It was just perfect. The house is lovely and situated in a safe and pleasant real Mexican neighborhood. Locally, we enjoyed the excellent park one block away as well as the fresh popsicle store around the corner. Our girls enjoyed the pool and the cable TV on which they watched Spanish cartoons. We enjoyed the clean and well-supplied kitchen-- especially the juicer for the great and cheap oranges. The video library was a blast each night as we selected a movie. The high-speed internet with the connecting cable already supplied made it easier for my husband to relax so far from home. The manager made things easy-- and the maid was meticulous. The laundry was also great for our family of little people. We did rent two cars ($100/week for each) for making our daily trips to the grocery for "pan dolce" -- and it was a lot easier given our young children. The decor was very nice-- our children loved the large fish mural. And we used the dunk tank for our snorkeling and diving gear daily. We will definitely come again!

Your home was just what we were hoping for! It is beautiful and relaxing. The pool is an extra luxury. The location is convenient to everything. Enrique was extremely helpful and pleasant.   • We spent a week in Cozumel Jan 24 - 31, 2008. This is a very nice home. We were in 3 different properties during our month in Cozumel. This was the best by a mile. It is very clean and well decorated. It was the only house with mattress, box springs, and a frame. It is a little further out than I would prefer, but the good out weighed the bad. Thank you for a wonderful week. We hope to stay again soon.

  • We spent a wonderful Christmas/New Year! The house is very convient to town, restaurants, diving and sight seeing. The neighborhood makes you feel a part of Mexico rather than a 'tourist'. The house book offers great suggestions of what to do, where to go, and what to see, far beyond the usual tourist books. Bill and Diane have furnished the home most comfortably! We hope to go back again soon.

  • My two brothers and I stayed at Casa Nuestra for a week in January. The week was mostly centered around diving, but having he villa to come back to as opposed to a hotel really went a long way to making this a great trip. The house has everything you could need, is very clean, well furnished and comfortable. The rince tank and areas to hang the dive gear in the courtyard is very nice to have. The high speed internet was great, we used skype to call back to the states for free. The villa is located conviently to just about everything you could want (dive shops, the supermarket, down town). The neighborhood seems very safe. You will need to rent a car as taxis are a bit hard to come by in the neighborhood. I'D highly recommend this villa. For the cost of a mid range hotel in Cozumel, you can have your own place.

  • I stayed at Nuestra Casa with two friends while on a diving trip the week of Sept 10-17, 2005. The house was everything it promised to be and we would not hesitate to stay again when we return to Cozumel. Enrique is first class - very professional and helpful with anything we asked. I especially enjoyed the guest information book. The restaurant recommendations are right on the money.

  • We just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed ourselves at your "home". We had the opportunity to stay over the Christmas holidays. Nuestra Casa helped make it a very enjoyable Holiday. We made the trip with 5 adults, (2 parents, 3 grown children, and the home had plenty of room for all to be very comfortable. Even though everyday was spent on the go, the evenings were quite comfortable. I think there were more video possibilities than most local video stores and with all rooms having players in them, everyone was kept happy. Enrique was so helpful, his knowledge of the island and the home were invaluable. When we first decided to go to Cozumel we were afraid that we might not be able to get a home big enough or comfortable enough to enjoy the holidays. Then Emily came calling to the island and our fear level raised even more! But once we arrived, walked in the door, had coffee on the "topside" patio all of our fears were erased. Cozumel, even after the visit by the ugly stepsister "Emily" was well worth the visit. Thank you once again for the use of your "home".

  • Our July vist to Nuestra Casa was great. The house is truly located in a quiet, local neighborhood. Everthing you need is there. Loved the pool. While the house is close to everything, we would definitely rent a car to get around. Enrique, the manager, was quite helpful, especially since our last day there included an approaching hurricane. It was very comforting to know that someone on island was keeping in touch of the news for us. If vacationing in Cozumel again, our first step will be to book Nuestra Casa.

  • This was our second visit to your lovely house. We love Cozumel and being able to stay in Nuestra Casa was the frosting on the cake. The new 3rd bedroom, bathroom, and the on-top viewing area is beautiful - looks as though it’s always been there. Enrique, as in the past, was a GEM - met us at the airport, led the way to the house, and patiently refreshed our memory about the different points of interest. After that, we left him alone and took off in our rental car to be tour guides for Julie, since this was her first visit to Cozumel. After spending our days in such places as Mezcalitos (great grilled shrimp!), the beach at Chen Rios and their Super-Sized Margaritas, snorkeling at Dzul-Ha (buy a drink and snorkeling is Free if you have your own equipment), and a visit to Punta Sur for some more swimming, and a boat ride on Columbia Bay to see “Ricci Martin” - their resident 14 ft. crocodile. Ed even got a chance to do some surf fishing on a private beach recommended by Enrique. We did so many other things - too many to mention - BUT - we did take the ferry one day to Playa del Carmen to go to Xcaret (the ecological park). The all-inclusive park offers such things as: floating down an underground river; snorkeling in a lagoon where the fish are RIGHT THERE!; a beautiful beach with plenty of lounge chairs; giant sea turtle pond; butterfly area; etc., etc., etc. Don’t leave Xcaret until you’ve seen their evening show - a history of Mexico - OUTSTANDING! The show alone is worth the price of admission ($59/pp) - which is cheap at twice the price. Of course, the best part of our days was being able to come home. We used your “house book” and tried a local restaurant “El Turix.” The food was excellent and the owners, Raphael and Myruka, spent time chatting with us. How often does that happen? After our evening meals, about all we could manage was a relaxing swim, a quick shower, and then a video movie. If God made anything better than this, he kept it for himself. Thank you Diane & Billy for allowing us the pleasure of sharing your lovely Mexican home. Oh! Did I mention that we even found time to do some shopping?
