Welcome to the relaxing serenity of the country. Welcome to Turner Bay Chalet on Lake Coeur d'Alene.
This rustic, quaint and comfortable lake cabin is located on the eastern shoreline of picturesque Lake Coeur d'Alene. Take Wolf Lodge Bay exit off or Interstate 90, following Idaho's Scenic Highway 97. We are neatly positioned between the city of Coeur d'Alene and the historic logging town of Harrison.
On the main level in an open studio style, you will find a full kitchen with all the modern appliances, satellite TV, full bath with tub and shower, full size washer and dryer, queen size bed. The kids and guests will enjoy the privacy provided by the bunk style lower level of the cabin, only accessible from outside, having it's own half-bath and comfortable sleeping accommodations.
Dock and beach access will allow you to enjoy all the activities offered by lake living. Take a swim, catch a fish, explore the depths with mask and snorkel or simply soak up the sun. The waterfront fire-pit will provide ample opportunity for evening gatherings under the stars, as the sleepy waves of the lake roll in.

We have just finished a 2-week vacation rental at the Turner Bay Chalet-on Lake Coeur d' alene, and what a Gem! We went for daily walks and saw wild turkey, deer, coyotes, elk and moose within 10 minutes from the Chalet. We rented bikes in nearby Harrison and went on a 15 mile round trip ride on the trails of the Coeur d' alene, where the scenery was breathtaking. There is a quaint ice cream shop in Harrison (the huckleberry was my favorite) as well as a local winery named Sheppard's (our favorite was Italian Plum). On another day we rode horses at a nearby ranch located at Wolf Lodge. The Chalet has access to the lake via a large dock that we used daily. A perfect place to swim, snorkel or just lounge! If you desire, there is also a fire pit on the lake that is available to roast marshmallows, hotdogs etc.. The accomodations were perfect and included amentities such as full washer/dryer and laundry detergent, towels, utensils, full fridge, stove/oven and a gas BBQ. The owners, Ava and Kevin reside adjacent to the Chalet, and suffice to say that they take great care and pride of the Chalet. This was evident when we entered the Chalet and saw how clean it was, and the attention to detail given to the decor of the Chalet. An added bonus of staying at the Chalet was the owners dog Quiona-a female Springer Spaniel that checked in on us daily to make sure we were OK!!! We enjoyed her company and will miss her and her unbridled energy. Thank you Ava and Kevin (and Quiona) for a truly wonderful and relaxing experience at the Turner Bay Chalet-a much needed reprieve that did not disappoint! My husband and I just spent a week at the cabin and it had everything we could want in the way of amenities. It was very clean when we arrived and exactly as described in the listing. Also a bonus for us was the fact we could bring our dog along with us on vacation. If swimming is not enough to wear your dog out there is a nice quite street for walking just across the cabin and up on the hill with great views of the lake. We had a great time on the water and really didn't leave much except to have burgers one night at the Carlin Bay resort which is only a couple miles away. Make sure you get everything in one grocery load because it is not a quick trip to the store! Its a slow going road back to town and you just really have all that is necessary right there so why waste time in the car. If you look skyward you will probably see a few eagles soaring about. The owners live next door but they are very very nice and never intrusive. The only issue for some may be that there are quite a few steps down to the water so if your mobility is challenged the owners will let you use their trail which is somewhat easier. It was not a issue for us. The bunk room downstairs would be great if you have kids or a larger group but we never used it. We defiantly hope to return someday.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
