  • Beyond belief

"It is incredibly rare to write a review in which you were overwhelmed by where you chose to stay. In a word it's amazing. The location is ground zero in wonderful Downtown Telluride. From the rooftop you have 360 degree views of the most beautiful box canyon in Colorado. Everything about this place is top shelf. The furnishings and finish out is something you simply do not find. Each bedroom is really a master suite in its own. Warning: Stay off the rooftop patio as you may never leave! It is the premiere spot in Telluride regardless of what season you are in. We had three couples on our trip and spent 90% of our time out there. The star lit sky at night is something to behold. I also can't fail to mention how well we were treated by Amy and the staff. Every effort was made to ensure that our time was memorable. If we had a question or concern a staff member was on site before we could hang up the phone. Do yourself a favor and let your family or special someone experience Telluride at its finest. We will definitely return!"

  • Wonderful home for a family gathering!

"Eureka provided a very comfortable home for us and our 3 adult children and their guest. The 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom offered plenty of privacy and space without being overly large. We especially enjoyed the layout of the kitchen, dining and living areas as we could all be together in one space. The furnishings were very nice and the kitchen well outfitted. The window seat has an awesome view of the mountains. We also really enjoyed the hot tub which was easily accessed. The lower level leading out to the garage was fantastic for getting geared up to hit the slopes and for storage of skis, boots, etc. We had varying levels of skiers in our group and the ski out is too difficult for beginners. Skiing home involves a 120 yard walk along the road or if you prefer the Dial-A-Ride service is great. We enjoyed the ability to walk to the Mountain Station (town hall) grocery store including the walk back uphill and the easy access to the gondola. For anyone considering bringing older grandparents as we were (but didn't) the driveway is steep and there are many steps up to the front door (we always used the garage door to enter). Dial-a-Ride and airport shuttles picked up and dropped off at the top of driveway. We will definitely consider staying here again!"

  • Excellent place in Mountain Village

"I just got back from a trip with 7 adults. For starters, Leighann was a pleasure to deal with and deserves a medal for all the questions I threw at her. ;) Thank you, Leighann! Now, regarding the place. This place is excellent! It is certainly interestingly decorated, but it is obviously done so with a flare and high end taste. We had enough beds for each of the 7 of us to have our own, and we all agreed that the beds were of excellent quality! This is so important after a day of skiing...especially after day FIVE of skiing. The place is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The multi-level design isolated noise as best as can be expected. The lower floor family room was an added bonus to hang out and watch movies. The walk from the lift didn't bother us at all. Especially, since you can cross the street in the morning and be on a ski-out run to Sundance Express. From the village, you are always two lifts away from Gold Hill Lift anyway. My only caveat is the parking garage. It is TIGHT! We had a minivan and it was a challenge to fit into the spot and get out of the car. I wouldn't recommend getting anything bigger, such as a Suburban, if you are driving up."

  • Wonderful

"The Stimson's home was a perfect getaway for four couples. The house was immaculate, spacious, luxurious, and convenient to everything (gondola, restaurants, and town park). We thoroughly enjoyed having a place to hang out while also having the privacy of four full bed rooms for each couple. The only issue that occurred was the homes carbon monoxide detector's batteries ran out. Amy, the caretaker, had a maintenance man out the next day to replace. We would highly recommend anyone with a group to stay here. We hope to one day return as we couldn't have been happier with our experience."
