  "The apartment was in a great location, surrounded by many wonderful restaurants and bars. I enjoyed the cleanliness and ample space the penthouse provided. The terrace was a wonderful place to relax and soak in some sun. Nice place to spend time in Buenos Aires"

  We spent 4 weeks in this lovely apartment in February/2012 and highly recommend it. Following are some observations: The Apartment: It's lovely - just like the pictures (maybe better!) We chose it primarily because of the open kitchen and generous outdoor space and were very happy with both, and more. The appointments are excellent and everything is well cared for and spotless. We did a lot of entertaining and the layout is superb. The Location: I obsessed over the various BsAs neighbourhoods - everyone who has been to Buenos Aires has a strong opinion about neighbourhoods and isn't afraid to tell you where to stay! Originally I looked at Recoleta and Palermo Botanico, but kept returning to this apartment due to the layout. I wasn't as familiar with Las Canitas and was a bit worried it was a little farther than I thought I wanted to be. I needn't have worried..we loved Las Canitas! In under 20 minutes we could walk to most of Palermo and Belgrano (despite February heat) and it is well served by buses (and for North Americans, cabs are still cheap). And Jumbo - a great grocery store - is 5 minutes away. Las Canitas has a great feel to it - tons of restaurants of all cuisines and prices - yet we could still sleep with the windows open as it was quite quiet up on the 7th floor. The Transaction We've rented many apartments and it was a pleasure dealing with the owners and local property agent. Jeff was incredibly responsive and answered my million emails promptly and Alfonso (on site in BsAs) is a terrific, easily accessible and responsive property manager. The housekeeper Tatiana is charming and does a terrific job. Rent this apartment! You won't regret it! If you have questions ask Jeff for my email address - happy to correspond directly.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

  Hi Hamish, Jeff and Alfonso Thank you for a great stay at your Baez apartment. The beds were very comfortable! To land in a place which is stocked with the basics is FANTASTIC! Both balconies were a great place to people watch and relax. As soon as we arrived at the apartment, we took a ride to Jumbo for drinks. We felt right at home in this store. The surprise was the wine tasting in the Premium wine section. Great way to start the vacation. I would definitely recommend your apartment to anyone who is looking for a great place to kick back.

  We spent one unforgetable week at this beautiful condominium in BA. It is centrally located, wonderfully appointed and even quiet due to the fact that it is on the top floor. The terrace is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink before walking to what seemed to be hundreds of restaurants for everything from sushi to empanadas . There are an infinite number of transportation options or one can just stroll to great shopping and tourist areas. Overall, a great experience in a marvelous city. Thank you.
