  Kenja Kottage was perfect for our family vacation. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for our week stay. The kids loved playing with the boogie boards at the beach! The beach was a short 2 minute walk from the home. It is within walking distance to Pompanoe Joes and Captain Daves. Our only complaint is that the bed in the upstairs back bedroom was not very comfortable. Other than that, we loved Kenja Kottage and would love to stay here again if we return to Destin!!!

  Kenja kottage was a very nice house, we stayed 2 families of four and it was great. One family upstairs and one downstairs. The house was big enough for all of us. ( we have 4 children between 8 months and 8 years) The house was clean and it has washer and dryer inside. It was close to the beach, just across the street. And close to silversands outlet too. The house was next to the poolarea and it was a little bit anoying because it was springbreak and some teenagers had poolparties every night until midnight. So we did have a hard time getting the kids to bed. We went to the great maze in Panama city beach, that was very fun. Both for the kids and the adults. But overall we had a great time and I would recommend Kenja Kottage to my friends. /Madeleine and friends from Sweden

  This is a lovely vacation home! There were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 toddlers), and we had plenty of room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, so everyone had plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well appointed--plenty of cookware and dinnerware. Very clean, and just across the street from the gulf. The weather was gorgeous. We enjoyed the Gulfarium in nearby Ft Walton and the outlet mall in Destin. We would love to come back!

  Everything exceeded our expectations! What a perfect location! Loved the added security of being in a gated community. Home was comfortable for our two families. Kids loved the bunk bed. Be sure to bring your bikes as there is a great biking path that runs parrallel to the road. Kathy was a joy to speak with. We called her a couple of times for general questions. Of particular note for those of you who perfer to recycle. Unfortunately, Destin does not have a recycling program. It was painful to throw away items we knew could be recycled. Try and use low waste products as much as possible. This in no way takes away from the home and Kathy.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Good experience here. Home is fantastic. Easy walk to beach. Managers helpful with suggestions. Considering returning next year and would recommend to friends or family.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We thoroughly enjoyed renting the Kenya Kottage for our vacation in the Destin area. The house is beautiful and a very short walk to the private beach. It felt like our home away from home and was exactly what we hoped for our first trip to the Destin beaches. The property managers Kathy and Mike were also wonderful from beginning to end. Fantastic vacation spot for the a family.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kenja Kottage. Kathy was awesome! This is our second stay at Kenja Kottage. We plan on returning again and again. The place is spacious, clean, and beautiful!
