Handsome, well appointed home less than a mile into the Indian Creek residential area, just North of Hailey, Idaho in the Wood River Valley. It sits on a fenced, level acre of land five minutes from downtown Hailey and 15 minutes from Ketchum/ Sun Valley. The location is private and peaceful, yet is close to the action of Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley.
This two story, well-maintained home has a CA king bed in the master suite, which is on the first floor. The guest bedroom is upstairs and has a queen-size bed. There are beautiful valley and mountain views from each room in the house.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer are in the laundry room.
The living room and dining area are open and light with views to the north and south. The living room is very comfortable and has a river rock gas fireplace, TV, DVR and a CD stereo. The sliding glass doors open to the patio and garden with unobstructed views of the valley and mountains.
The house has wireless Internet access and satellite TV. There is a gas barbecue on the patio.
This is a wonderful family home and a great place to enjoy all Sun Valley has to offer in the summer: less than a 1/2 of a mile from the Valley’s extensive macadam biking and walking trail system, hiking, the Sun Valley Summer Symphony, the Sun Valley Arts and Crafts Festival, fishing and just the beauty of Idaho!

My name is Scooter Carling. I moved to the valley in 1989. I manage a ski shop in the winter and am a rafting guide in the summers. I have been guiding on the Middle Fork of the Salmon river for almost 20 years enjoying 6 day wilderness trips. Outdoors activities are my favorite, including, rafting, biking, hiking, skiing, camping.
I decided to rent my house out when I am gone and let others enjoy the seclusion and peace of Indian Creek.

I love the Sun Valley area and the Wood River Valley. So much to offer... skiing, hiking, biking, camping, rafting, golf, tennis, symphony, dinning, or just hanging at home. After leaving to guide on some of the most challenging rivers in the summer and gone for 4 months, I decided to share the wonders of my house.
