We built this home in 2007. It is located on a river, called Rock Creek, on the outskirts of Red Lodge. Red Lodge has great cross country and downhill skiing minutes from our place. Winter is also popular for hiking, snowshoeing or sledding with the kids. We have a wood fireplace for aspres ski socializing.

Summer is when many people come to Red Lodge for the numerous recreational activities. Another reason people come is the spectacular drive across the Beartooth Pass to Yellowstone Park. The Beartooth Pass is only open in the summer so it is very special.

If you like wildlife, this is the place. At our Red Lodge home, you will always see deer but can also see moose and even the occasional black bear.

I think that you will find every comfort at our place and the setting is to die for. If you like the outdoors, mountains and water, come see Red Lodge!

This vacation was everything we hoped for - great family time and the kids had lots of fun with their cousins. I (Mom) sprained my ankle the first day of skiing but it was great hangin out by the creek in such a beautiful house/spectacular setting. Thank you for opening your home to use - we felt right at home.

This was our yearly retreat-our 23rd year. We all go way back. We stayed in (rain) and enjoyed your beautiful home; had fire going; listened to soft music and talked to the wee hours; watched movies; cooked in; enjoyed wine. Love the steam shower in the a.m.! Thanks for sharing your beatiful home! Saw Mama and baby bear on the creek behind the house climbing a tree.

We had a lot of fun! I loved the river behind the house and I always fell asleep to it. Dad love the temperature. Casey loved the outdoors. Casey and I hiked to Basin Lake and it was amazing. Thanks for everything! It was awesome. The house is beautiful.

"We had a great time and love your cabin!! My husband caught trout in front of the house. We saw a bear very early one morning walking down to the creek. Saw deer daily in the area. Red Lodge is a beautiful area and we would love to come back some day......"

"It was all fun in the winter wonderland. Your house is a lovely place to start the new year and decade. The ski diversity was great. The mountain had lots of good terrain and the Nordic ski area was beautiful, fun and very exhausting. So we had to eat some more to recuperate... thank you for sharing your well equiped home with us. All the comforts of home and then some."

From our guestbook: Highlights: ..when we saw the deer cross the stream and the first moment we walked in and were blown away by how awesome this place is. The place is simply incredible! From the moment we walked in we were blown away with everything about it. From the layout, to the view, to the quality of everything from the silverware to the mattresses, you have outdone yourselves. We felt pampered and comfortable all at the same time and we truly wish we never had to leave. There is no doubt that we will all be back.

From the guest book: Loved the back porch of this house. We enjoyed seeing the deer come down to the river to drink. We greatly enjoyed this short get away and love the house. Can we inherit from you?

These comments were taken from the guest book we have at the cabin: We all had a fantastic time in Red Lodge. It was reliving many memories for some of us and brand new experiences for others. The house is great and the family loved it. Saw lots of deer, some turkey. Love the roaring creek.
